He sat in the observation deck overseeing the training room. He has been there for hours on end. She was at the bottom, in the room, training. She has been ever since she got back from the mission. He didn't understand why she pushes herself. She was at the top of the leaderboard for team two, she had the best team, she had the best training, and she was...was Ohio. He could beat her easily, well...almost easily. Ohio and him were pretty closely matched. Same strength, same speed, same reflexes, same, well, everything! He knew very well that she was only doing this for the Director's entertainment. Australia also was very fond of the feelings he had developed for Ohio too. She was oblivious to his constant attempts at talking to her. She always pushed away, said she was busy, always something. He, Australia, would always try to get her away from her "distractions." She would just walk away or continue on with what she was doing. Australia would always then walk away, saddened that he couldn't make her see. It's not hard to believe she was the sister of Maine. They do act the same. Silent, strong, independent, pretty much just a female version of Maine. Ohio would never, ever take off her armor. How did Australia develop feelings for Ohio if he doesn't know what she looks like? He doesn't care. He loved Ohio because of who she was, not what she looked like. He pondered in his mind while watching her train, 'What if she pushes herself too far?' His train of thought ended by a feminine yelp. Maine had came in, tired also of watching his sister train, and carried her too her room. Australia then walked to his room tired and curious as to how he can make the female see. Make her see that he cared. He flopped on his bed and fell asleep. Dreaming of a happy life with Ohio, a happy life cut short...

[*short time skip to morning*]

Australia woke up with a racing heart. He panted as the image of Ohio's demise in his mind faded. Ohio had woken up earlier in the morning and set off for a mission. Australia, oblivious that his dream was about to be a reality, sat up with beads of sweat dripping off of his forehead. He then realized that Ohio's mission, suicide mission at that, was today. And that she had already left. He rushed to put on his armor, and ran to the hangar. The image flashed in his mind once more. "No." He murmured under his breath. He knew it was just a matter of time before that dream...that dream will become real. He landed with a loud crash and rushed out to her position, the recovery beacon going off. Fear filled his mind as the scene became familiar. It all made sense now. He was too late. He saw her laying in her own blood. He pulled her into his lap. Australia tore off his and her helmet. He had only seen her face once, and now...now will be the last time. Her crystal blue eyes used to sparkle, now they were drained of color. Dull if you will. He let the tears flow as a soft yet strong feminine voice barely caught his attention. "Australia? What are you doing here?" His head snapped to her face, and their eyes locked onto each other. "Y-Yes?" She smiles faintly before pulling him down and whispering against his lips, "I love you." She kissed him weakly given her state. Australia kissed back only for her body to fall limp. He pulled away slowly seeing a final tear slip from her eye. He wiped it away and whispered, "I love you too..." he pulled her cold body close and hugged her, never wanting to let go. He sobbed as 479er landed nearby. Australia picked up her and both of their helmet and jogged to the pelican. 479er closed the back hatch before taking off to the MoI. He never let go of her body the entire time. Hoping that he would somehow bring her back. Part of his mind told him it was possible, but the majority told him that it's not gonna work.

[*time skip to a few years after her funeral*]

Australia layed a single rose on the grave. She was buried in her favorite place, in a Cherry blossom field. He put a hand on her headstone and whispered, "Soon my love..."
