Chapter 3: C-Rank Mission
Tsuki's POV
"Sasuke, point B"
"Sakura, point C"
"Tsuki, point D, this is boring" I said through the earpiece.
"Tsuki, don't complain" Kakashi sensei said back to me.
"Naruto, point A" he said after a long time.
"Naruto, you're too slow" Kakashi said.
Kakashi, don't complain, I thought mimicking his earlier statement.
"Oh! The target is moving, follow it" the jounin said.
We followed the target, which is a cat, that ran away from a fat lady. The cat walked slowly to the bushes, enjoying its freedom. It sucks that we have to capture it and take it back to its prison, not literally.
"Okay, how far are you from the target" he asks no one in particular.
"Five meters" Sasuke says.
"Me too, I'm ready, just say when" Naruto says through the earpiece.
"Me too" Sakura agrees.
"Yup, ready when you are sensei" I say.
"Okay.......Now!!!" he yells.
We all jump down to catch the can't, well except me I just jumped down and walked over. Naruto caught the cat, but he was squeezing it with a death grip, so the cat clawed at his face leaving multiple scratch marks.
"Does it have a red bow" Kakashi says.
"Affirmative" Sasuke answers.
"Good. Mission, capture Tora is now complete" Kakashi says informing us of our success.
"CAN'T WE GET ANY BETTER MISSIONS!!!" Naruto shouts into the earpiece, making all our ears ring.
Great, he's gonna make us deaf, I thought bitterly.
Ωฯ¤~Le mini time skip~¤ฯΩ
We make it to the Hokage's office and watch as the cat cries out in distress, while the fat lady rubs him against her massive chest. I feel bad for the cat. No wonder it ran away, I thought as I watch the horrid scene in front of me. The lady pays her due and leaves with a wailing cat in her arms.
"Okay, for team 7 I have a series of missions that involve, babysitting the Daiyamo's toddler, helping with groceries, and picking pota-" the Hokage speaks before a blonde knucklehead cuts him off.
"No!!" he shouts crossing his arms in a 'x' formation, " I don't want to do some chores, I want a better mission" Naruto finishes.
"Idiot!!!" Iruka shouts while slamming his hand on the table, gaining our attention, "you are mere gennin, you need to start from the bottom and build your way up, you still don't have enough experience to do high ranked missions" he finishes still a bit frustrated.
"Calm down Iruka. Naruto, there's a rank of ninja, who are given a type of ranked mission. The bot-" I ignored him, this is basic stuff.
I looked at my nails as Naruto talked about the different ramen he ate. I don't know how he lives off of ramen. It's really unhealthy, he's gonna get fat, I thought as a laugh escaped my lips.
