Chapter 15: The Realization of the Future
Tsuki POV
After they left Naruto kept questioning me about how I didn't help or why I came. He asked me if I was betraying them. He asked me if I was already a part of the Akatsuki. Of course I lied just to deceive him.
"Naruto, I came because I was worried for you and Sasuke. I didn't help because I barely got out of the hospital and I don't wish to go back in. And no I'm not betraying you or the Leaf, I want nothing to do with them" I lied with a straight face.
"Oh okay, I'm sorry Tsuki for ever thinking that you'll betray us" Naruto says apologizing.
"It's okay" I say waving his worries away.
I turn to walk towards Sasuke, but I stop as I see a flash green enter with speed. My eyes widen and I hold back my laughter as I see Guy Sensei kick Jiraiya in the face. I then see the regret flash on Guy's face and this time I have to bite my lip to stop myself from bursting out in laughter.
Soon I watch as he apologizes to the Sanin which is horrible. They later forget about the conflict and turn to a dazed Sasuke who's stuck in Itachi's Genjutsu. All I know that whatever he's watching, it's not pleasant.
I tried to hear what the two adults were talking about, but I only heard whispers and parts of what they are talking about. I only heard 'need' ' the only one' and 'Tsunade'. So I'm guessing is that they're looking for one of the Legendary Three Sanin, the Slug Princess, Tsunade Senju. She's the master in the healing arts and she has incredible strength and she's the last Senju.
A light bulb went off in my head. She's the woman that Naruto and Jiraiya set off to find from the start. How could I be so stupid? Naruto was the one who told me this earlier. But why do they need her?
"Guy take Sasuke and Tsuki back to the village. Naruto and I will find Tsunade" Jiraiya says.
Hmm, It seems like I'm going back.
'It seems so. That Jiraiya man doesn't seem to trust you'
'I know, he's a cautious person, you can't blame him'
'Well, you did stand there and do nothing, basically showing that you don't care about your comrades. And you were contemplating on whether you should join the Akatsuki or stay with the Leaf' Cerridwen says in my head.
'I know, but Naruto and the rest don't know. Plus Jiraiya just suspects me, he doesn't know for sure that I'll join'
' I know, just be wary of him. He could make things worse'
'I know'
After my chat with Cerridwen, I took in my surroundings. I find an impatient and worried Naruto, a Sanin lost in thoughts and who suspects me of betrayal, an unconscious Uchiha, and a serious green beast with inhuman eyebrows. I roll my long sleeves up to elbows and walk up to Sasuke, who's sitting against the wall. I take one of his arms and haul him on my back which makes me stumble a bit due to his weight. He's not fat or anything, he's the opposite he's slim and has muscle, but he's taller than me so he weighs a lot more than me.
"Let's go, he needs to be in a hospital" I say reminding them.
"YES!!! DON'T LET HIS YOUTHFULNESS GO AWAY!!!" Guy shouts with pride as he struck a pose.
