Chapter 18: Pushing Me Away

Tsuki POV
After the race was won by Idate, making the Wasabi the victors, they now have rule over the Land of Tea which everybody wished for. Apparently the Wagarashi family was caught blackmailing, bribing, and using espionage, making them get disqualified from any future races. So now the Land of Tea will always be under the rule of the Wasabi family.

A few days passed, when a boat arrived for our departure. The Leaf village sent Ibiki, and a group of medical ninjas. The medical nin are for Sasuke since he got injured fighting against Aoi, he received several burns from the electricity that the sword produced. So right now Sasuke is in a room lying on a bed, unconscious. His chakra drained, from the fight earlier. Sasuke was the only one from the four of us who got severly injured, he also would've died if it wasn't for me.

After Aoi knocked out Sasuke, he cut the rope that was holding the bridge trying to make Sasuke fall to the raging water below. Just as Aoi cut the rope, I dived after the Uchiha, holding him by the waist, I sent chakra to my free hand along with my feet so I could attach myself to the wall besides me.

So now i'm sitting here against the rooms wall, looking at the water as I ignore the daggers that Sakura's shooting at me. Apparently she's jealous that I saved Sasuke from dying, she wanted to be the hero who saved the damsel in distress. She's not the only one who's been looking at me strangely. Ibiki's been looking at me as well, with a certain gleam in his plain black eyes.

Hate.

Disgust.

Anger.

And fear.

I wonder why he's looking at me like that. I haven't done anything towards anyone to make him look at me like some disease. I feel my stomach sink as I see his eyes so full of hate, a look that I often find in my parent's eyes, a look that I often saw in the villagers eyes.

'Why?'

'Its begun'

'What? What do you mean it has begun? What are you talking about'

'The elders. They started the manipulation of convincing people that you're a threat'

'A threat? I'm not dangerous. Why would they say that?'

'Because they fear me. They think that having me sealed in you, Will make you a possible threat to Konoha'

' So they started already? And that's why Ibiki and the medical nins look at me with hate?'

'Yes. I'm sorry Tsuki. You shouldn't go through this pain'

'Don't apologize. I'm used to this already. The looks, the pain, everything I've been through, I'm already used to it that it caused me to become numb'

'Still. No person as young as you should live like this. Shunned by everyone, surviving on your own, being emotionally abused by your family, that no normal life'

'Who ever said that I live a normal life. I'm not normal, I'm a shinobi, antisocial, a twin to the biggest fangirl, and I'm the host of a Goddess'

'Yes I know. Just be ready to face a lot of change. People will look at you differently and they'll treat you differently as well'
