So Close yet So Far

Chapter 9

Tara's P.O.V

I went back to my dorm room. When I went in there were no people there so I was alone. I sat down on my bed and played with my phone.

I didn't bother to study since today was the first day and they did some introductions. I was so bored and I stopped playing with my phone because I needed to charge it.

I lied down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. I kept thinking about Dominic. I didn't know why but I felt attracted to him. When we played twenty questions I became curios. And apparently became jealous when he said that he had an ex before. And I kept wondering what kind of tattoo he has.

I didn't know that much about werewolves. The only thing I know about them is that they can turn into wolves and the whole mate thing but besides that that's all I know about them.

I sat up and sighed when the door opened. Lara and Charlene came in and I immediately asked Lara a question that kept bugging me when I talked with Dominic at starbucks.

"Lara do you know who Dominic Carter is?" I asked.

Lara and Charlene quickly looked at each other and then looked backed at me.

"Yeah, he's the son of the alpha in the pack I live in" Lara said.

"Why are you asking Tara?" Charlene asked me and I answered her with a shrug.

Lara had a happy look on her face while Charlene raised an eyebrow at me.

"What are you so happy about?" I asked Lara and she replied saying that it was nothing which was accompanied with a giggle. I rolled my eyes at her and stood up and went into my personal cabinet and took some clothes and went into the bathroom to shower. After I showered and ate my diner which was take out, compliments to Lara, I went to sleep.

*The next day*

I woke up to Charlene poking me in the face saying that I need to wake up. I sat up and said to Charlene that I was up but said it in angry tone. I was a morning person if I was looking forward for something but today I'm not.

I took a pair if jeggings, short shorts, a white tee shirt and some underwear. I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower. I went out fully dressed and took a red flannel and wrapped it around my waist to add style. I borrowed Lara's hair dryer and dried my hair. After I was done drying my hair I grabbed my white cap and white converse and put them on. I grabbed my school bag and went to my first class.
