If I have to have a name burned in my throat,
I want yours seared in my lungs.
Ruining my breathing habits but starting a fire inside me,
Reckless youth and promises we'll try to keep,
A fire fueled by impulse and teenage insanity,
A broken boy and shattered girl,
Held together by the desperate need of each other.
