Patrick stared at the paper.
"What's it say?" asked Dan.
Patrick shook his head. "It says 'Where are you? Remember the concert tonight? Come back quick - Pete'"
"Wow, that's helpful."
Patrick raised his eyebrows.
"I guess we need to figure out a way of sending a message back," said Dan. "Any ideas?"
"I'm empty."

Patrick didn't have a clock in sight, but he guessed that it was around midday by now. His stomach had started to rumble and he was hoping that the fangirls would remember to feed them.
Since the eagle incident, nothing had happened.
Dan seemed to like talking about Phil. Quite a lot. He didn't appear to realise that any conversation the two of them had seemed to lead back to Phil. Patrick noted the way Dan's eyes lit up when he talked about him. Almost like Patrick and his fedora.

Later, as Patrick was starting to feel the hunger gnawing at his stomach, the fangirls arrived with some food.
Patrick's mood was lifted as soon as he saw what looked like shrimp vindaloo poking out of the top of a container in fangirl 1's hand.
He thought that they were going to untie them then, but no. Patrick and Dan were left with their hands tied behind their backs and no way of eating the wonderfully smelling food that was laid before them.
The fangirls stood beside each of them with the food in their hands. Fangirl 1, who was stood next to Patrick, scooped up a spoonful of shrimp and then shoved it straight into his mouth, followed by a very awkward episode of feeding. It looked as though Dan was going through the same thing.

After lunch, a very unexpected thing happened.
Patrick heard what sounded like someone at the door, and then someone coming up the stairs. The fangirls looked at each other, confused.
The person came through the door.
Standing in front of Patrick now, was none other than Brendon Urie. He was laughing.
"Haven't you people ever heard of closing the god damn door?"
