New Beginings

5 months later

Once again things were back to normal, for real this time. Yvette had finally come to terms with the loss of the baby. It wasn't a fast process but she got over it on her own time. She's gone back to work and was actively involved with the kids again. She's back to her normal self, the person that everyone loved. She finally talked with Kim, and they spoke about the real reason she got upset about the baby news and why she shutdown. Kim was understanding, she let Yvette know that this was the main reason she didn't want to say anything about the pregnancy. She didn't want to trigger any unnecessary emotions because she knew all the pain that she was goring through at the time. They were back to kiking everyday over the phone and hanging out on the weekends, they even decided to plan a baby shower for Kim.

"I mean damn girl you gonna tell us what you having? How am I supposed to plan a baby shower if we don't know." Kim laughed "I told you we wanted it to be a secret." "I know I know but it would make this shit a lot easier." Yvette said with a laugh. "Well....ill let you in on a little secret, I actually do know what we are having." "WHAT!" Yvette yelled "bitch what you mean you already know." "Girl I just had to know, not knowing was driving me fucking crazy so after my doctors appointment, I went back in and told them to tell me what we were having." "Shut up...what the hell did P say?" "He doesn't know that I know. When I went back in I told him I left something, and he  actually believed that shit too girl." They both laughed. "I told him to go get the car while I went back in." "So what the hell are you having then?" There was a brief silence "A Boy" "OMG I'm so excited for you." Yvette got up and gave her a hug then playfully hit her on the arm." I'm so mad you didn't tell me. I know P is gonna be to excited about that." "Tell me about it, ever since he found out I was pregnant again, he was like damn baby I hope it's a boy I don't think I can have another sensitive ass female in the house. He's like I need another man in the house to balance this shit out." Yvette  just shook her head. "But he don't know that I know so yo ass bet not tell Jody either. I know how you get, yo ass can't hold no damn water." "Alright, alright I won't say a word." Yvette said as she swiped her finger over he mouth in a my lips are zipped motion.

"Damn Jody Jo can you believe I'm about to have another kid, me this hood ass nigga becoming a real life family man who the hell would of ever thought that." "Shit I know I didn't." Jody said with a little laugh "Shut up nigga." "What I mean come on P, let's be all the way real. Nobody thought yo ass was gonna do right by Kim when she had Krystal, I mean I'm shocked my damn self you still with her with yo wild ass." "Shit I know." "So is yo ass gonna marry her yet or what? Y'all pretty much the Huxtables in this mother fucker." Jody said laughing "Fuck you nigga, we ain't no damn Huxtables, that's you and Yvette's ass. But I have been thinking about it and I am gonna ask her to marry me. I'm gonna do it at the baby shower." "My nigga" Jody said as he got up and dabbed him up. "Speaking of baby shower, you know what y'all having yet?" "Naw we decided to keep that shit a secret." "Oh that's what's up." "But let me tell you something right quick. My ass couldn't wait, that shit was eating me up. So one day when I was out I went to Kim's doctor and asked her what the gender was and they said it was a boy. I'm about to have me a son nigga." "I'm happy for you dawg, you gonna tell Kim?" "Hell naw nigga her ass would kill me if she found out I knew what we was having. Yo ass betta not tell Yvette neither I know how yo ass get with that pillow talk and shit." "Alright nigga."

Jody went to go get Yvette from Kim and P's house and then they picked up the kids. They had all three kids with them. Lil nut had actually started staying with them full time now and she would visit with Peanut over the weekends. Jody wasn't feeling the dude she was with and he wasn't about to let his daughter be around that nigga. Lil nit loved staying with them anyway, she actually started calling Yvette mama. It was a shock at first and they would try and explain to her the situation but she was really to young to understand so they let it go. They figured once she was old enough she could make up her own mind about all of it.
