The Big Day

Fast Forward to Wedding Day!

Jody's POV
Damn man wow, I'm about to be fuckin married to my boo Yvette. Talk about a long time coming. I broke the curse I'm actually gonna have a real family, an actual husband and wife, mommy and daddy living in the same house. Shits crazy. Jody was looking at himself in the mirror dusting his shoulders off rubbing his face with a huge grin on his face. Ha a nigga clean up real nice, I bet my baby looking sexy as hell too, I can't wait to see her and for her to be Mr. Joseph Summers.

P walks into room "What up Jody Jo, you ready to be a married man" Jody has a cheesy smile on his face "hell yea nigga, JoJo you ready for your mamma to marry me?" JoJo looked up from his game he was playing in the corner "Yes daddy." "Damn man who would of though me and you of all people were settling down, you getting married and got yo self a whole family, I'm a daddy to a little girl who the fuck we think we are? P said with a laugh "Aye nigga watch yo mouth we in a church, but you right I would have never guessed in a million years. When you gonna put a ring on your girls finger?" " Man shi...... I mean look I been thinking about it for a minute especially since she had Krystal, that lil girl changed my entire perspective of things you know what I mean dawg." "I feel ya man." "So you ready to go out there?" Jody was fixing his tie then bent down to fix JoJo's "yea I'm ready, let's do this" Jody gave JoJo a high five and they all walked out to take their places.

Yvette's POV
Omg omg omg, I can't believe I'm getting married today. Yvette was sitting in the makeup chair. I'm mean I never thought in a million years Jody would get his shit together and we would actually be a real family. Wow. Yvette took a long deep breath trying to release some of the pinned up energy she has inside. I'm just so happy and nothing is going to mess up my perfect day, I've been through too much for it not to go exactly as planned.

"Yvette girl, hello earth to Yvette" Kim said as she was putting the last pin in her hair. "Yea, what my bad girl." "Where did you go off too" "Just thinking about everything, life, my babies and that handsome man I'm about to marry." "I'm so happy for you girl, I know you been waiting for this for a long ass time and you deserve it." "Thanks Kim." Yvette got up picked up a fussy YaYa and fed her a bottle. "Here you go my little princess, you look so pretty in your little dress your going to be the best little flower girl ever." Yvette sat her back down then picked up her dress. "Kim can you help me with this?" "Yea girl" Kim zipped up the back of her dress. "Wow you look beautiful" "Thank you." "So when you and P gonna tie the knot?" "I don't know girl, I mean I think he wants to get married but sometimes I can't tell with him." "Girl I see the way he looks at you and handles Krystal, I'm sure a ring is coming soon." "I hope so." They both continued to get ready as Juanita walks in. "You re....oh wow Yvette you look gorgeous" she said as Yvette turned towards her. "Thank you." "You know I'm happy for you, I always knew you were the one for my baby. My son adores you and so do I, I love you." Yvette was about to tear up. "Thank you and I love you too" "Now don't mess up your makeup now." They all laugh. "You ready to do this girl" "As ready as I'll ever be." "Alright let's go" Juanita said as she picked up YaYa and grabbed Lil Nut (Jody's other daughter) hand. Yvette took a deep breath and walked out to start the rest of her new life.

Wedding
The music started playing. The doors of the church opened, it was decorated with the colors purple and teal with white lilies placed through out the church. Yvette was standing there looking so beautiful. Jody's mouth was wide open "hey bruh close yo mouth" P said. The wedding party marched down the aisle first. Then JoJo was next with the rings on the pillow. Then one of Yvette's little cousins pulled a wagon that had YaYa and Lil Nut in it and they dropped flowers along the way. The music changed and everyone got up. The traditional wedding march was playing which was Yvette's choice of course because she's always dreamed about coming down the aisle to that song. Yvette walked slowly down the aisle taking in everything and everyone that was around her. Everyone was taken aback by her beauty. Yvette made it down the aisle and Jody's face just lit up. She handed Kim her bouquet and her and Jody locked hands and just stares into each others eyes.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today..." Jody and Yvette eyes never left each other. "You two have written your own vows, Joseph go ahead."

"Yvette ever since I've met you I've known that I wanted to spend my life with you, I was just too dumb to realize it. I know I've put you through hell and back and I hope to make it up to you with each day we are together. You've given me something that I've always wanted, a family and I thank you for that. You made this baby boy want to be a man which is one of the many reasons as to why I love you. You my rib and Im so happy to call you my wife." Yvette had tears running down her face."

"Yvette you may proceed"

"Jody I love you so much I've known since the moment I met you I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. We've gone through some crazy things and I stuck by you that's because I love you. I've always knew you had the potential to be a great man and I'm finally glad that you saw that in yourself. You've giving me the 2 best children plus an amazing bonus child and I'm forever grateful, you're an amazing father and I couldn't imagine it being anyone else. I'm so happy that I'm starting this new journey of my life with you. I love you so much." Jody was trying to be hard and not drop the tear that was stuck in the corner of his eye.

"With the powers vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The pastor said.

Jody and Yvette locked lips and the entire church cheered. Those 2 were smiling from ear to ear. They walked down the aisle hand in hand with the wedding party behind them. They were all headed to the reception.

Reception

The reception was one huge party. The room was decorated beautifully with teal and purple spot lights, flowers as the center pieces. There was a huge buffet along the wall with a dessert and candy bar.
Everyone had already gathered in the room and taken their seats when the DJ got on the mic. "Alright alright alright everyone lets get ready to welcome the bridal party." The bridal party walked in and took their seats. "Now I want y'all to get up out your seats and welcome Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Summers!!!!!" Everyone clapped, whistles and cheered as they walked in. Yvette had changed into a short lace white dress so she could be more comfortable and move better. Jody changed into a white linen outfit paired with some new crisp white chucks. "Alright let's make some room for these two to have their first dance as husband and wife." Eric Benet's Spend my Life started playing and they danced and kissed for the first time as a married couple. Once they were done the party started to really jump. The DJ was playing all the latest hits, everyone was dancing and eating and having a good time. Jody danced with his two little princesses Yvette danced with JoJo then all 5 of them danced together as a family. Melvin and Juanita were getting their groove back, P and Kim were getting it. "Hey now we about to take it back for just a minute y'all" the DJ said, next thing they heard was Bootsy Collins I Rather be with you. Everyone got up and headed back to the dance floor to dance.

Jody and Yvette were swaying back and forth in each other arms "I love you so much Mr. Summers" "I love you too Mrs. Summers damn I love the way that sounds." Yvette just smiled and planted a deep kiss on to his lips. "Can't wait to tear that ass up on our honeymoon." Jody said as he grabbed her ass with a smirk on his face.
