and then i realized
that even though i was in pain
even though i had enough
even though i felt like giving up at that moment and just trapping myself in my room
seeing one person can make a day so much better.
hearing the tone of their voice saying
"i'm so happy to see you"
being noticed
by someone of which you look up to
someone who cares and
you care back.
amazing how with some words or gestures that
aren't the least bit romantic
can make your heart flutter
that will make you feel like you belong
because you've been noticed.
you mean something to that person,
and,
even though you may mean something to many people
at that moment in time you know
you are loved.
and i knew that i was loved.
and even though today was not the best of days,
i knew i would be just fine.
