"Y/n! Come down they'll be here any minute" my mom yelled from downstairs. I sighed and looked in the mirror fixing my self up, I walked downstairs getting ready to meet my future wife that my mom has been talking about all week.

We heard the doorbell my mom fixed her shirt then open the door "ah hey Andrea" my mom said hugging I'm guessing her mom.

she let them in Normani was now fully viewed.

"it's finally nice to meet you y/f/n," Andrea said shaking my hand "it's nice to meet you too" I smiled we walked into the kitchen and sat down.

Everything was going peacefully I really didn't talk much, I just couldn't get the fact that I'm going to be marrying Normani I never saw my self with a girl before.

"We are going to leave you guys here so you can get to know each other" my mom said getting up with Andrea. The table was quiet I look up to see her staring at me "Uh hey" she rolled her eyes looking anywhere but at me, this is so awkward.

When I found out I was getting married to y/n I was furious. I can't stand her, we had history together as best friends but of course, it didn't last long.

"So umm are we going to talk or..." She trailed off I sighed "I really don't fill like talking to you right so can you just shut up" I snapped she sighs and run her fingers through her hair "look I know that you're not happy about the marriage an believe it or not I'm not happy either but we both know there's no way of getting out of it. So can you just snap out of your phase right now and get this night over with" she said crossing her arms I roll my eyes once more not really in the mood for this but started talking anyway.

"As you may know my name is Normani Hamilton and I'm 19" she smiled "OK my name is y/n y/L/n and I'm also 19" we started having a steady conversation no type of insults just compliments.

My mom came to Dad and told us that it was time to go thank the lord. I hurried and got up walking out the house and into the car
"How was the talk" my mom ask I shrug my shoulders "it was OK "

"As you may know we are searching for house tomorrow and of course you guys have to come" my mom says "mom this is going way to fast I'm not ready for marriage I was hoping to marry Carter" I said "I'm sorry but this is how life goes you need to break up with him so it won't be cheating when you get married in a couple of weeks" she says I sighed "fine".......
