I took a couple sips of the alcohol beverage and smiled at Normani as she told the story about the time the kids and I went camping.

"and she almost fell off the cliff" everyone laughed "guys I miss this, I miss hanging out with you all every day" I speak up "I do too," Dinah says "we should all make plans to meet up sometime and just hang like the old times" everyone agreed.

"I'm going to be bathroom be right back," Lauren says getting up and walking away. "um I'm going to get another drink...anyone want another?"

I walked away from the group of friends and ran inside the house. I watched as Lauren jog upstairs, I needed to talk to her I wasn't going to follow her up there that would be weird and creepy.

After about 5 minutes Lauren came back down "oh hey Mila what are you doing inside" She asks walking up to me "um to get more drinks"

"oh ok so how are you I really didn't get a chance to have a nice conversation" She smiles

God her smile is beautiful

"oh well, I'm good what about you?"

"I'm good too, life is great I'm happily married and have an adorable little boy" her smile widen as she looked down at the ring on her finger.

"oh that's good congratulations"

"we should get going" she walks past me ask her the question idiot!

"wait for Lauren!" she looks back at me raising an eyebrow "yeah?"
