Sean brought me to Bounce World for our first date. How did he know? Bounce World is basically just a large warehouse full of bouncy castles, which may seem a bit childish, but I've always dreamed of coming here. All throughout my child hood, my non-hippie friends would have bouncy castles at their birthday parties, but not me. According to my parents renting a bouncy castle was succumbing to the man. Every time I asked for one she would would give me a disappointed look and go into a lecture about screwing over the establishment. A lot of unnecessary words for my young self, all I ever got out of it was "No, you're not getting a bouncy house."

"Seriously how did you know? I've always wanted to go to this place." I ask.

"I sort of asked your mom for some ideas." Sean admits sheepishly.

"You talked to my mom? How?"
I ask in astonishment.

"Well I actually asked her a while ago, that morning when she found me in the bench. She said she didn't approve, but if she did,I should take you to someplace with a bouncy castle." Sean explained.

"Wow. That's probably the most civil conversation she's ever had. I'm proud of you. Talking to my mom take some serious balls, it was a very romantic gesture."

"Teen boy asks his girlfriend's mom where to take her daughter for a date because he can't think of anything. Yeah I'd say that's one of the biggest romantic gestures of the century."' Sean jokes.

"Well I appreciate it. But I actually can't wear this in there Sean. A skirt? I'll accidentally flash someone!" I stress.

"That's fine, as long as it's me." He replies cheekily.

"Yeah it would be you and the rest of the people bouncing. Lucky for us, I usually keep a pair of shorts in my car. Gotta have them in case I get the random urge to work out." I explain.

"Well then, I'll cover you while you change." Sean offers.

"Such a gentleman."

I pull the shorts on under my skirt while looking around to make sure nobody is watching. After they're secure I pull the skirt down and toss it in the car. I'm glad to be out of that skirt, athletic shorts are way more comfortable anyway.

"Okay, I'm ready." I say as I grab Sean's hand and pull him towards the building.

"You're pretty eager to get there." Sean teases.

"Well yeah, I love bouncy castles!" I squeal.

"Well then, let's go!" Sean replies.

We walk as fast as we can without running and that doesn't even seem fast enough. Maybe it's little ridiculous that I'm this excited over a bouncy castle, but I really like bouncy castles and I really like Sean. So sue me, I'm excited to be on a real date with my boyfriend.

After Sean pays our way in, we sign some liability agreement and head inside. There's bouncy castles everywhere. And they're really fun ones too. There's a big slide one, and one that looks like a boat. But the one I want to go on first is a giant dinosaur with multiple levels inside. Needless to say, it was the best looking one there.

"So which one do you want to go on first?" Sean asks.

"The dinosaur!" I practically yell.

"Alright then, we'll go to the dinosaur." Sean says, then leads the way.

There's hardly any lines, probably because it's three o'clock on a Wednesday, so we get to go in right away. The inside is just as cool as the outside. There's stairs and slides and even climbing walls. I honestly can't think of anything more exciting than this place. I should invest in a bouncy castle of my own.
