~ Chapter 29 ~

I didn't know where to look. Zayn and I's eyes were locked on Niall and Jade as they continued to passionately kiss on my porch. How did this happen?

I knew Jade liked Niall...I could just tell.

"Uhh what do we do?" Zayn whispered.

"We don't do anything. Quick just get inside so they don't see us."

Zayn did as he was told. He held me tight with one arm as he unlocked his door with the other. When we arrived inside, he carefully placed me on his brown leather couch and prompted my head with a pillow.

Zayn knelt down beside me. "You know I think you were right in the hospital.'" he laughed. "About Jade liking Niall."

"Ya think?" I said playfully hitting him upside the head.

He smiled and fixed his quiff. "Typical Jade, going after what she wants, and getting it."

It was true. Jade was one of the most determined people I have ever met. And if she wanted it, she would do anything in her power to get it.

"I mean its not a big deal, its just, you know its just-" I paused. I was at a loss for words.

"A surprise." Zayn stated answering for me.

"Yes exactly. A surprise."

A surprise was one way to put it. I wondered how long she had liked him, or more importantly, why didn't she tell me? Maybe since he's my ex? Speaking of Niall being my ex, wasn't he still in love with me? Not that I cared, I'm glad he's moved on, but it still didn't make any sense.

"I don't get it. Just the other day he was still madly in love with you." Zayn said reading my mind.

But when the words came out of Zayn's mouth, I desperately wanted to change the subject. I just hated the way he made it sound, like it was some sort of disease or something.

"Umm can we not talk about that please?" I said abruptly.

"Uh yeah sorry." Zayn mumbled.

On another note, I was still incredibly dizzy. These pain medications were like a spinning death chamber and I didn't care how bad my nose hurt, I was not taking another.

Zayn out of nowhere grabbed extra pillows and blankets and covered me with them, again reading my mind. Its like he always knows how to make things better, which only made me regret my decision more. Especially now that Niall's off canoodling with Jade on my porch.

"Hey actually, I wanna sit up. Maybe watch a movie?" I pleaded.

"Sure." He sat down next to me, and pulled out the recliner on his chair.

Ooh I liked the look of that, so I did the same. A girl could sure get used to this.

"What do you wanna watch?" He asked.

"Whataya got?''

Zayn got up and opened up a large cabinet to reveal tons of DVD's.

"The bottom row is all my new stuff."

"Ooh I wanna watch something scary. Can we watch Mama?"

He nodded and popped the disc in. He was being strangely agreeable today.

He sat down next to me again, but this time inched further away from me when he realized how close he was to me.

I sighed. I liked having him closer, but I'm sure he still wasn't past the break up. I wasn't even past it. During the whole movie I thought about why I broke up with him, and how it was such a mistake, and how big of a dumbass I am.

"AHHHHH." I screamed.

Holy shit, that was scary. Some black old creepy shrively thing popped of nowhere. I practically jumped into Zayn's arms and buried my face in his chest.

I quickly removed my head. "Uhh sorry." I mumbled. "I uhh didn't see that coming." I quickly fixed my hair and made it back to my spot on the couch.

"Its okay, I didn't either." He laughed.

I had noticed my breathing had become extremely heavy. I was worrying about what would happen next. I didn't know if I would survive if that shrively thing popped up again. Why did I choose to watch this?

Perrie you scardey cat....

"Scared?'' Zayn laughed.

"A little bit." I said softly. To be honest, I really just wanted to just sit in Zayn's arms, so I just put on the whole scared thing as an act.

Keep telling yourself that Perrie, you know you're going to have nightmares tonight.

Zayn died laughing. He grabbed me and pulled me in tight with his arms around me. "Are you gonna be okay Edwards?"

"I will be now." I smiled.

A look of sadness spread across Zayn's face. I didn't understand why until I realized I basically just flirted with him.

Way to go Perrie..

All of a sudden, there was a knock on the door.

"AHHHHHHHH!" we both screamed.

When we realized it was just the delivery guy, we ended up in a pit of hysterical laughter at how dumb we were.

Zayn let go of me to get the door. "Delivery for Zayn Malik." the UPS guy said. "Sign here." Zayn signed as quick as he could and shut the door. He was analyzing the package he received.

"My sneaks are here yes!" He jumped up and down like a five year old girl.

I couldn't help but giggle.

"You laughing at me Edwards?"

I was about to speak up when out of no where Zayn came and started to tickle me. "Not so funny now huh Edwards." He laughed.

A burst into laughter. "Zayn stop!!" I squealed. I absolutely hated being tickled, but for some reason it was hilarious, and I was no longer dizzy.

It wasn't long before he tackled me to the floor. I was in a pit of hysterical laughter. "OW haha!" I said rubbing the back of my head.

I seemed like we had both forgot about everything we had gone through in the past two days. When I was with Zayn, it was like we were the only two people on the planet.

"Oh my god Perrie I'm so sorry, I forgot about your nose and your dizziness! I really didn't mean to tackle you I swear!"

I couldn't help but smile knowing that he felt terrible about tackling me.

"Its okay Zayn, im not dizzy anymore."

We lay together now on Zayn's living room floor just laughing, even though nothing was funny at all. We stared at each other for a while and smiled. It was beginning to feel awkward, so I broke the stares by looking around Zayn's living room.

"Perrie." Zayn said breathing heavily.

"Yeah?" I turned to look back at him.

"I love you."
