~ Chapter 44 ~I know running up to my room and slamming my door shut was immature and I was being a brat, but I didn't care. I was sick of hearing about this stupid prom.
I knew the girls would be up to check on me any minute now.

"Perrie what's wrong are you okay?" Jade said as my door slammed open.
And there it is.
"Nothing just leave me alone." I said digging my face into my pillows.
Jesy grabbed me by my ponytail and lifted me up. "Nope get up."
"OW! Are you out of your mind!" I shouted.
"You know Perrie people run away from their problems all the time." She said with a fake smile. "You're one of those people!" She hollered in my face.
"But now you're friends with us." She released her tight grip on my ponytail as hard as she could. "So you're no longer one of those people. I'm not going anywhere until you sit your ass up and spill the beans." She stated crossing her arms.I slowly rubbed the back of my neck. Damn Jesy was tough, but I could see the concern in her eyes.
And that's when I realized, these were my best friends who cared for me, and sitting here crying into my pillow wasn't going to help me.
"It's just, you guys all have prom dates now, and somehow every conversation just ends up being about prom. Zayn and I still aren't okay and I just feel like we're not going to make up this time and I'm just scared I'm gonna be dateless and you guys are all gonna have a great time without me." I sobbed.
Leigh Anne sighed and rubbed my shoulders. "I know things are rough with Zayn sweetie, but even if you don't get back to together, you don't have to be dating to go to prom, you can go as friends. You will make up soon I know it."
"You know." Jesy began. "Even if you don't have a date it will still be fine, lots of people go to prom without a date."
"And we would never leave you alone at prom if you didn't have a date, we would dance with you the whole time." Jade said.
I sniffled. I know they were trying to make me feel better but it just wasn't working. There was nothing they could say that could lift my spirits.
"You guys I'm NOT going to prom without a date." I refused.
"Well who says you have to go with Zayn?" Jade asked.
Everyone looked at Jade like she had 4 heads. But was it such a bad idea?
No what am I saying of course that's a bad idea.
"Well no one says I have too, but no guy at school will ask me, everyone probably thinks I'm Zayn's property."
Jade plopped down on my bed. "GAHHH!" She screamed into a pillow.
"Look do you really want to go with Zayn?" Leigh Anne asked.
As much as I didn't want to admit it......
"Yeah I do. More than anything." I wiped away at my tears.
"Well then you're gonna have to make it happen." She said crossing her arms.
I sighed. Leigh Anne was right. I made this mess with Zayn, and now I have to clean it up.
"Alright I'll see you guys later. Make yourselves at home."
I grabbed my purse off the chair and slipped on my jean jacket. I wiped my cheeks until no tears were left.
