~ Chapter 39 ~

"JADE, OH MY GOD, JADE!" I tapped her cheek about a million times. "JADE CAN YOU HEAR ME?"

I wish I hadn't shooed Niall away so quickly. I was about to dial for him when Jades eyes opened and she quickly sat up immediately.

"Holy shit, did I pass out?" She felt her forehead.

Wow. Most people aren't aware of them passing out.

"Yeah you did, Jade what's going on with you?" I asked.

"A lot Perrie, please get me inside now."

I was basically dragging Jade into the coffee shop because she couldn't hold herself up. I plopped her down in the nearest chair. It was red and soft with pillows.

Jade sat down and put her head on the pillow. "This is extremely comfortable." she marveled.

Known fact. I have good taste.

"Perrie a non fat vanilla chai please! With foam!" She called to me as I got in the coffee line.

I nodded back at her. She said that like, I didn't already know her coffee order. Of course I know it. Besides, it's the same as mine.

I ordered the coffees marveling at the cashier. His hair was the curliest hair I've ever seen on a male.

His name tag read Harry. That's a cute name. I always linked the name Harry to old men, but it worked with him. And you don't hear it everyday. I liked it.

Oh stop it Perrie you've got Zayn basically begging at your knees.

"Here you go lovely." He handed me the coffees staring at me like he's seen me before.

"Aww aren't you sweet." I said grabbing the coffees.

Aww aren't you sweet? I sounded like his grandmother. You might as well just go pinch his cheeks, Perrie.

Actually I wouldn't mind doing that, his cheeks are very plump. I'll call him Cheeky Boy. That is if I ever see him again. I've never been on this side of town before.

I walked over to the chairs, and Jade's head was down on the arm of the chair. I think she was asleep.

"Jade." I said.

I got no reply. Hmm,I'll have to try something else.

"Jade! Coffee!"

She snapped her head up quicker than I expected. I knew that would work.

"Ooh yay!" She clapped.

Giving coffee to Jade was like giving candy to a five year old. Too easy.

I took a seat in the blue chair beside her. She's right. These are extremely comfortable. I really do have good taste.

I'm like the chair whisperer. I giggled to myself, but then returned back to seriousness when I remembered why I was here.

"So what's going on with you, I'm really worried Jade."

She took a sip of her coffee and a deep breathe. "Yeah I've been quite the mess. Time for me to tell the truth. So here we go." She paused to let out another breathe. "Truth is Perrie, I need you. After things went down with Jesy and Leigh Anne, you were right, you were the only friend I had, truthfully. And our friendship is so important to me, I don't want to throw it away over some stupid fight."

And that was all I needed to hear, that she needed me. I needed her too. But she didn't sound done, so I didn't want to interrupt.

"So what I needed to confess was, I lied the other day on the phone when you called. I wasn't ready to apologize then, so made you think I was with Jesy and Leigh Anne. I didn't really make up with them, I just wanted to make you jealous."
