~ Chapter 20 ~
"Hey Jade, if you don't mind me asking, why did we get in a huge fight? I remember us being friends for like ten minutes." I giggled curiously.
She laughed in shock. "You seriously dont remember? You were Zayn's other girl! Did I mention I also don't share very well?" She added.
How did I manage to forget that?
I mean the last couple months of my life has been focused on that. I couldn't help but laugh. It's ironic how all this is hilarious now, when it was so serious months ago.
"Yeah sorry about that." I said quietly.
"Don't be. He likes you, remember? Besides I've moved on."
"I heard him tell you in the parking lot he likes me, but I cant help but think he doesnt actually."
Jade seemed confused. "Perrie you eavesdropped on the whole conversation, you just said you heard him! Why are you questioning it?"
She was right. Why was I wasting time questioning it when I heard the words come out of his mouth?
"Hey, I did not eavesdrop! I just heard the conversation happening and decided to listen." I flashed her one of those innocent smiles.
"Because thats so much different than eavesdropping!" She chuckled.
I just shrugged my shoulders.
"Hey Perrie?" She asked.
"Yeah?"
"C-can I be honest about something." She said in a more serious tone.
"Course." I nodded.
"I'm sorry that I did this, but you probably know that I'm the one that sent the picture to Niall."
"Yeah, I mean I kind of assumed it was you, but don't beat yourself up about it, he needed to know and I was too much of a coward to own up to it."
"Yeah but not like that." She looked down with guilt. "Anyways, my point is, I have a feeling that because Zayn feels bad for Niall, he won't confess to you."
I looked up at her with confusion. That couldn't be the reason.
"Don't worry about Niall, Perrie he needs to grow up."
"That can't be the reason Jade. Niall came here earlier today. He told me he fixed everything with Zayn, and that he was in the process of getting over me."
"Well does anything else seem logical?"
I thought about it. I guess that was the only thing that seemed logical.
"Look Perrie, here's a fact you should know about me. Not trying to sound conceited, I'm always right, about everything. I dont know why, but I just am. You can ask anyone." She beamed brightly.
I wasn't going to argue it. As a matter of fact, I have heard that from people.
"No I bet you are." I laughed.
"So that has to be the reason." She said matter of factly.
I just shrugged and rolled my eyes. I didn't really want to talk about it anymore. I tried to change the subject.
"So I wanna hear how you and Zayn met."
She looked at me like I was crazy. "Why?"
"I don't know, I'm just curious I guess." I flashed her a toothy smile.
She rolled her eyes. "Well alright then."
"It was freshman year. We had gym together. I'm so athletically challenged, so the whole class made a joke of me, well except for Zayn. He was the nice kid. Always told me I tried my best, always gave me tips, and even partnered with me. So I started to develop some feelings for him."
