~ Chapter 3 ~
I couldn't help but stare at this boy next to me. He was absolutely stunning in every way. The blonde highlights in his dark brown quiff were perfectly done and he had those sweet puppy dog brown eyes with a million dollar smile. He had a lot of tattoos which suited him really well and surprisingly, I liked them.
I hoped he didn't notice me staring, but out of the corner of my eye, it looked almost as if he was staring at me too.
I wanted to play dumb and casually drop my neck pillow or something, but I knew it was a turn off. I decided to do it the old fashioned way and just say hello.
But I wasn't moving. I was completely frozen, totally mesmerized by him. I couldn't gather up the courage to just say Hi.
Oh come on Perrie, just say Hi. Don't be a wimp, My subconscious shouts at me.
I decided the worst that could happen would be him ignoring me and finally tapped the boy on the shoulder. He turned to look at me and I was instantly hypnotized by his beautiful brown eyes. Like before, I froze like an iceberg.
"Yeah?" the boy asked in an adorable British accent.
Shit, I wasn't expecting him to sound so sexy. Although I should have, because every other part of him was.
"Uhh, umm." I stammered. I didn't know what to say. "Your shoelace is undone." I spat out trying to sound casual. I panicked and it was the first thing off the top of my head.
Oh my gosh Perrie, why did you say that? He's not going to get up anytime soon, so why would he care even if they were? Wait a minute, his shoes don't even have laces! Way to go Perrie, real smooth.
The boy confusingly looked down at his moccasins. "Uhh I'm not wearing shoelaces." He said awkwardly.
I smiled innocently. "Oh uh sorry" I mumbled. "It looked like it was undone, my bad." I could tell I was blushing. I'm pale enough as it is, I probably look like a tomato. I spun around as fast as I could and stuffed my face into my neck pillow, preventing any further eye contact between us. I'll never be able to show my face to him after that. He probably thinks I'm creepy.
"You don't have to be embarrassed." I heard the male voice say.
I emerged from my neck pillow and shot the boy a puzzling look. "Huh?" I asked.
"You know it's cool about the shoe thing, I actually think its kind of- " He paused.
"Kind of what?!" I asked a little too eagerly. I couldn't help it, sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me.
"Cute." I heard him mutter softly.
"Did you say cute?" I asked filled with hope that was what he said.
"Maybe I did." He paused and smirked. "Maybe I didn't."
I giggled at him. His mysteriousness made me even more attracted to him. I hoped I wasn't wrong, but it seemed to me like he was trying to play hard to get. Just the thought excited me.
"You know most guys think it's unattractive when girls play dumb." I babbled out.
After I said it, I immediately regretted it. I just made myself look worse than I already did. That was one of my many talents.
"You weren't playing dumb. You were looking for an excuse to talk to me. I think it's really cool when a girl makes the first move." He grinned. "Or tries too." He giggled softly.
"Oh." I smiled shyly.
Oh? God Perrie he's flirting with you, and all you can say is oh?
"I was actually looking for an excuse to talk to you, but I didn't know what to say. You just made this a whole lot easier." He admitted sheepishly with a laugh.
