Gio's POV
"Sir, nandito na po yung resume ng mga employees ng D&M Inc." sabi ng secretary ko habang bitbit ang patong-patong na folders.
"Just put it there." utos ko sa kanya while reading a contract. Ginawa naman niya ang sinabi ko. I sighed looking at those pile of folders. Another night with no sleep.
As I finished scanning the contract in my hand, I stood up and went near it. Got a few folders and went back to my table.
Dapat kong basahin each and every resume to assure that they're the best.
I opened one resume at a time and as I scan every resume, di naman nagsisinungaling si Mr. Dela Merced that his employees are the best. Most of them graduated as summa cum laude and cum laude. Has experiences on other big time companies.
Hinilot ko ang batok ko ng makaramdam ng ngalay. Nangangalahati pa lamang ako sa pagbabasa ng resume I still have a lot to do.
I stood up and went to thhe pantry and got a cup of coffee. I took a sip on it. Coffee has been my friend. Together with alcohol and work, they made a great circle of friend of mine. Sila ang naging kaibigan ko at karamay sa tatlong taong paghihintay ko at paghahanap kay Lia.
I went back to my desk and got a folder from the file.
My heart flutters. Finally, you find your way back to me, wife.
It's Lia's resume.

"Contact number, contact number. Where the hell is her contact number!" balisang paghahanap ko sa 11 numbers na dapat ay naririto lang sa resume niya.
I smiled as I found it. I took my phone and immediately dialed her number.
Napasuntok ako sa hangin when it ringed! GOD! IT'S RINGING!
