Chapter 44

New Year's Eve

'' Today has just been amazing!'' Nikki said as we finished our dinner at the sushi restaurant.

We rented out the entire restaurant as we were about twenty people and we could make a lot of noise.

'' Yes it has been hey''

We were all dressed real fancy, The guys were in suits, Roman wore a black suit with a white shirt and I wore a high-waisted white mini tight fitting skirt and a white crop top which showed off some of my abs and had long sleeves with my hair wavy.

We spent the day exploring the city and taking loads of pictures together, it was really fun.

We left and headed to the club.

'' You enjoy your day babe?''

I was grinding with Roman to the music .

'' Yes!'' I shouted back at him and he smiled and pulled me into a kiss.

He twirled me out and I felt John pull me into his arms as Nikki now danced with Roman and then all four of us began dancing and hopping around together.

The others were surrounding us and then the chant began.

'' 5,4,3,2...''

John and Roman grabbed us and kissed us as the countdown reached one.

'' Happy New Year!!!'' I heard the people shouting in the background as I wrapped my arms around Roman's neck and deepened the kiss.

I then heard the music change to a slow song it was All of Me by John Legend which was weird because now was the time for some crazy dance music.

I pulled back and as I turned I saw ''Will you marry me?'' behind the DJ. I was really confused and then I looked beside me and saw John on his knees and I realized John was proposing to Nikki.

As I looked for Roman he was on his knees as well, '' Mia Mackenzie McMahon, you wanted to know my secret well this is it. Maybe I'm moving too fast but I know in my heart that you are the only one for me, so will you do me the honour of being my Jane for the rest of our lives?''

I felt the tears prickling as I nodded and he put the beautiful ring on my finger and he scooped me up in his arms .

'' I love you so fucking much!''

'' And I you baby girl'' he kissed me.

'' Lets make some more noise for the newly engaged couples!!'' I heard the crowd going wild.

I felt the sun shining in through our hotel room window, we had gotten in pretty late this morning and did loads of celebrating.

I could feel Roman's bare body against mine as his arms wrapped around my waist tightly while my head rested on the other. I tried to move slowly towards the dressing table so that I could check the time, he stirred abit and pulled me back into him. Something on my hand caught my eye and I remembered that I was an engaged woman! The ring was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I was so shocked last night, Nikki and I were both ecstatic.

I turned so that I was facing Roman and saw that he was awake.

'' I thought you were sleeping'' I whispered as I peeked up at him as my hair was covering my face.

I felt his arm leave my waist as his hand placed my hair out of my face and leaned down to kiss me.
