Chapter 9

We were heading back to Dean's apartment and still laughing uncontrollably as he was telling Renee stories of the past,when I looked up and made eye contact with Roman.

He was with Jenna and with Lucy in his arms.

I didn't know they were going to be here as they only came when it was house shows. Then I realized he probably called them, maybe in his mind we were over. I could feel a lump in my throat rising but I had to act cool, its not like Dean knew so he couldn't really help me.

Lucy spotted me and struggled out of his arms and she jumped into mine. When Jenna realized it was me I could see her face change but she immediately smiled when Dean and Renee went over to Roman.

''Hey Luc! ''

I slowly walked over to them. Roman didn't look at me , he was just focused on the rest.

'' See what daddy bought me!'' she held up a figurine of me.

'' Daddy and mommy didn't want to buy it for me but then I started crying because they were being mean then he bought it! '' She said with excitement in her voice.

Roman had probably heard the story she was telling me cause he reached to take her. ''Come on sweetie, we have to go now'' she hit his hands away.

'' But I wanna play with Aunty Mia!''

I was getting death stares from Jenna while Dean and Renee were laughing at her stubbornness.

I could see Roman was becoming impatient.

'' Sweetie we'll play some other time okay? I have to get to work and so does daddy okay? ''

'' Promise?''

'' Of course Luc..''

She gave me a big hug and went to her dad's arms.

Roman greeted Dean and Renee as well as me but I could feel the way he greeted me was coldly.

I honestly am confused with where Roman and I stand, I mean sure I forgot to tell him about Paul but was he really just going to try and forget about me like that and ignore me. I hoped he would at least act like he could stand me in our tag team match tonight against Randy Orton and Paige.

I was at the gorilla position with Paige and Randy. Roman was probably with his wife hence him being late.

'' Someone looks like they have a lot on their mind?'' Paige came over to us .

Randy turned to face me. '' you okay babe?''

I smiled '' yeah I'm just jet lagged."

'' Well I wont be going easy on you hey'' she joked.

'' Hun, I wouldn't want you too '' I put her in a playful headlock and we were laughing as she was tapping on my arms.

'' Catfight!'' Randy screamed out.

We turned to him and looked at each other. We took his arms and put it in a hold.

'' I give up , I give up! Paige you are going to make us lose tonight!" He teased and we let go and I realized Roman was now here.

I don't know when he got here.

Randy slapped our bottoms playfully, ''Lets get ready ladies'' we were still laughing.

I stopped once I saw Roman's reaction, he had no right being upset though.

I moved over to him while the other two headed out. '' Please can you at least act like you are in love with me for our storyline out there?''

Our music played and I walked away before he could respond.
