Chapter 37

'' Well that was another location ticked off the list'' I heard Roman's voice as he entered the kitchen with a towel around his waist.

I was sitting on the counter eating some ice-cream, he came over to me and stood between my legs. I was wearing a short silk gown with just my underwear underneath.

He took the spoon from my mouth and dipped it in the tub and began eating.

''Oh so there's a list?'' I leaned back onto my hands and smirked up at him.

'' Of cause, there are many lists involving us...'' he took another spoonful of ice-cream and walked out.

'' Do we really have to get up now?'' my head rested on Roman's chest as his arm was wrapped around me.

'' Well our flight is at 10 and your dad will be home for breakfast soon so unfortunately yes '' he sighed.

I leaned up and gave him a quick kiss and got up to brush my teeth.

I put some blueberry muffins on the table and coffee , I felt Roman's arms wrap around my waist and pull me back against him, kissing my cheek.

'' You bring our luggage down?'' He let go and sat down as I went to fill Viper's bowl with some breakfast.

'' Yeah they're in my car''

I heard the door open and saw JJ running in and my dad follow.

'' Roman, I didn't know you were here'' he smiled.

Roman got up and greeted him as I sat down. I was wearing a white maxi dress with my hair in a ponytail, Roman wore a cargo pants with a golf shirt.

'' Well I am glad you guys have sorted things out, what are your plans for today? I was thinking maybe we could go horse riding , show Roman around the stables'' My dad finished off his muffin and leaned back.

'' I would've loved that Dad but we are flying down to Tampa soon for Eva's wedding remember?'' I smiled sympathetically at my dad.

I had been gone for three months with no contact at all and now I was leaving again, I missed spending time with him.

'' Oh yes, well we can always do it another time. I assume you will be taking off until Roman gets back?''

Roman looked at me awaiting my answer as well.

'' Maybe... I haven't decided yet. I'll speak to Steph and see if she has any plans for me'' I wanted to be with Roman while he recovered but I didn't want to neglect my career either.

I mean I had a lot to prove as everyone just believed I was a gold-digging bastard child and so far I have been pretty successful but I had already been gone three months, I couldn't risk more time away.

'' I suppose that's a good idea sweetie, so Roman hows things with your parents now?''

'' They're fine now at first they were pretty apprehensive but they saw how much Lucy loved Mia and that she and Jenna are still pretty good friends. After the initial shock they're cool''

'' Well I am happy, I wouldn't want any hostility towards the wonderful relationship you two have'' he smiled at Roman.

'' I need to get some sleep , so I'll be seeing you. Well whenever you have time sweetie'' he greeted us and headed upstairs.
