Chapter 24

'' I'm sorry but you guys are going down!'' Paul showed a thumbs down as I hit the ball and they failed to get it.

Shane rolled his eyes, '' We are only 5 points behind we'll catch up! ''

Shane hit the ball and it flew past me, luckily Roman got it and he hit it with a lot of force as it flew past them again.

'' What were you saying there Shane?'' Roman teased as Paul high-fived him.

'' Don't worry son, we'll get them this time!''

And they did, we ended up being tied.

'' Okay whoever misses now loses. Cause I wanna get some more swimming in before we head for dinner!''

''Yeah yeah'' Miranda smiled.

The ball was flying back and forth for a good while, until my dad hit it pretty far. I ran staring at the ball and dived into the sand as I hit it up, they were so shocked that they ended up missing.

Roman ran up to me and lift me onto his shoulders as Paul did the same with Stephanie, we were busy cheering.

'' Next time I'm not getting stuck with the old people!'' Shane teased and my dad glared at him.

'' Hey I'm the reason we caught up to them, so darn quick!''

'' I need to sit down for a bit'' Linda went to sit under our gazebo, as Paul and Roman ran into the ocean with us still on their shoulders and the rest followed.

I could see the paparazzi everywhere but luckily I had nothing to hide. Once we were in deep they fell backwards resulting in us falling as well.

Roman swam further and I followed him, he stopped and turned.

Once I reached him he pulled me close to him and kissed me.

'' Thank you'' he smiled down at me.

'' For what?'' I held onto his shoulders.

'' For bringing me along, you have no idea how happy it makes me even though I met your family before at work. Its just like, for you to introduce me as your boyfriend to them. It proves your love to me even more I guess''

'' Well that was my intention and my family loves you! Well you still have to meet the whole clan but this is the most important. I'm glad you and Paul are fine''

'' Yeah me too, the less fighting in our lives the better right?''

I nodded and then kissed him, the kiss broke as we were separated by a wave.

I eventually resurfaced and I couldn't see Roman anywhere. My heart went into panic mode, especially when I felt something tugging my foot, we were so far from everyone else.

I started kicking and then I saw Roman resurface and relief flooded over me.

'' Did you have to kick me?'' He was holding his jaw.

'' Oh I'm sorry I thought I was being attacked, don't do that again! I thought you were gone!'' I hugged him tightly and he held me around my waist.

'' I'm sorry, I thought you knew me so well that you'd know it was me. I'm really sorry''

He kissed my shoulder.

'' I think we should head over to the others just to be safe''

'' Today was just so nice, my two girls made up. You have someone in your life again, someone that I actually approve of. Really nice day with the family''

We had just had some sushi at a restaurant near the beach.

'' Thank you guys for having me join you today'' Roman smiled at everyone.

'' As long as you keep my daughter happy and try not to beat up my son-in-law over here'' He joked.

We all began laughing and Roman nodded.

'' Dad, Roman and I need to get going. I have plans tomorrow'' I got up and Roman followed.

'' Okay, I might see you on Raw ,Monday. If I get a chance to pop in there'' He hugged me and took Roman's hand while I greeted the others.

We tried to be super quiet as it was 10 and the house was dark, which meant Nikki and John were probably sleeping.

When we reached our room I immediately got into bed I was too tired to do anything. I felt Roman get in behind me and kiss my cheek.

'' So the next time I will be seeing you is on Raw tomorrow night?'' Roman was sitting at the island in just his sweatpants with his hair in a bun, he had followed me down here as soon as he woke up.

'' Yeah...'' I went over to him and he turned to me and pulled me between his legs, gripping my behind through my denim shorts.

I had a baggy tank on which read '' I'm only happy when it Reigns'' he beamed when he saw me in it.

I kissed him and wrapped my hands around his neck as I saw John enter the kitchen in his boxers heading for the fridge.

'' Hey guys!'' he took some juice from the fridge.

'' Morning'' I leaned my head against the side of Roman's as we faced John.

'' Bro you look like a zombie!'' I laughed.

''He just got out of bed !''

I heard the door and within a few seconds Eva was in the kitchen wearing a denim shorts as well with a white baggy tank.

'' Morning!'' She got onto a stool.

'' I made some waffles, where's Nikki?'' I got onto a stool, it was 10 so she should've been up already.

'' She was still sleeping when I...''

'' I'm here!'' Nikki came into the kitchen, busy tying up her hair as she greeted Eva and took a seat next to her.

'' I feel so weird, everyone is in sweats and PJs while I'm showered and ready for action!'' Eva nodded in agreement as we dug into our waffles.

'' I like your tank!'' Nikki winked at me.

'' We should get going Mi'' Eva got up and put her plate in the dishwasher.

Roman pulled me into an embrace and kissed me, '' See you tomorrow baby girl, I love you''

He ran his fingers through my locks, '' I love you too''

I went over to hug John and Nikki and hooked Eva in as we left.
