" Lady Helena, your mother wants to see you" said Neah.

My vision was blurry and my feet stumbled like a calf taking his first step.I took a few more steps before falling on to the floor. Strange. The floor. It was soft and green. Grass! I laid on the floor and rolled around like a child playing in the sun. I haven't seen grass for weeks and I missed it so much. I heard the trickling of water from the courtyard and I smiled at the sight of my mother and Alastor sitting on the grass having a picnic under the tall olive tree. That use to be the place where we would have a picnic as a family. It would be my father, mother, Alastor, and me. I ran to them and gave them both hugs. My name echoed in the wind and I turned around to find a bright light covering the red rays of the sun. A lady stepped out with white hair and jewels in her hands. Silver adorned her glorious white dress and she pulled me up to my feet.We walked into a pasture down the hill of the olive tree.

" Helena, you will listen carefully now, child" she said. " I want you to marry Antonius".

" Why?" I asked.

" I am the Queen of Gods, do you question a god that blesses you with power?"

Another lady appeared. She was the most beautiful womanI've ever seen. Her blond hair flowed in the small breeze and her blue eyes shined as bright as stars.

" Why listen to her? Why would you want power when you could have love" she said.

The lady with the blond hair, who presumed to be Aphrodite, touched my shoulder.

" You know who you love. You won't be happy  forever with power ".

" The same could be said about love" sneered Hera.

I looked at Aphrodite who shook her head.

" True love does last forever".

" What if Antonius is my true love?" I said.

They both looked at each other. I looked back at the hill to see my mother and Alastor laughing.

Hera took my hands. " You have two fates. Power will allow you the freedom you've always wanted".

Aphrodite smiled and held my shoulders.

" But you know what love does to a person" she said looking at my mother.

The teo goddesses vanished leaving me in the green pasture. I looked up at the hill to see my mother and Alastor had vanished. The stars crept up from behind the olive tree and the grass whistled as the wind blew by. I sat down thinking of my choices. I picked up a reed of grass and as I held it in my palm is blew away like sand. I got up to find myself surrounded in darkness.

And then .... I woke up.
