Due to the sand in the air, I couldn't see the fight, nor anything for that matter. I coughed and move my hand left to right repeatedly, trying to get rid of the sand in front of my face. While doing that, I hear a large thump coming from my right ear. I started to worry that was Kitteh was the effect of the thump. I moved my hand left to right repeatedly even faster to make sure she was alright. Once the sand was out of my view, I looked to my right to see if Kitteh was okay.
But it wasn't Kitteh who was the effect of that thump. It was Bull. His back was faced to the wall of a building. "Jeez, at least let me get my claws out before you attack me." Kitteh said in annoyed tone with her right leg out. Wow, so she's that strong, I thought, since I obviously knew that Kitteh was the one who kicked Bull into the wall. I started to notice that she did something weird with her fingers. She put her index and middle finger together, along with her ring and pinky finger. Then, the two groups of fingers and thumb started transforming into four large green-furred cat paw with five claws on each digit (Author's Note: I honestly don't know what a cat's fingers are called besides paws and claws, so don't judge me about what I call the fingers xD). "Alright," Kitteh said, clenching her fists together and holding them up, ready to fight, "Let's fight." Bull was already off the wall. When I looked at him, he looked very angry at what Kitteh did. He just attacked Kitteh again, without saying a word.
When he was about three inches away from Bull (That's what I assumed), Kitteh grabbed Bull's shirt and threw him to the wall behind her. She was really strong if she could carry and guy that was tall and muscular as her. Bull pulled himself out of the wall and looked very angry doing so. Kitteh ran to Bull, jumped on his head, and launched off it like a rocket shooting into space. The launch off of his head made him fall to the ground. Bull didn't get up after that.
"COME ON, BULL! GET UP!" Some people in the crowd said. Bull didn't respond or get up. He still laid on the ground. Kitteh landed on the ground, turned around, and looked at Bull. "ONE, TWO, THREE!" The referee yelled. He grabbed Kitteh's right arm and raised it in the air. "KITTEH WINS!" He yelled. No one in the crowd cheered, except for me. I turned my head and saw a surprised look on every single face of each person. "Thank you." Kitteh said. She put her arm down, walked over to me, grabbed my hand, and walked to the exit of the alley. I felt the hard claws of her paws touching my skin. I was kinda afraid for a moment. I heard Bull's feet walk up behind me. "THIS ISN'T OVER, YOU STUPID BITCH!" Bull yelled. Kitteh just waved her other hand...or paw...at Bull. Once we made out of the alleyway and back onto the sidewalk, I stopped and made her stop as well.
"Now can you tell me what the hell was that fight back there?!" I asked insistingly. "Fine," Kitteh said as she took a deep breath, "That was a S.A. fight, or a spirit animal fight. Its basically a fight that has the same old rules except for one: You can transform into your spirit animal form. I heard about it during the last year of junior high. While I was walking home, I heard some high schoolers talking about it while they were smoking outside of a convenience store. It sounded pretty fun and I'm quite skilled at karate, so I wanted to try it out. But my parents always wanted me home early after school, so I didn't have time to go to a fight. But now, since I'm in high school, my parents let me come home later than that. So I have time for a fight."
"So those fights are that popular, huh?" I asked. "Yeah." Kitteh replied. "Since they are so popular, why aren't they in an arena or a boxing ring?" I asked, perplexed. Kitteh face started coming closer to me, I was about to say "Kitteh, too close.", but I knew that was rude. So I allowed it, since I highly doubted that she would kiss me or something. "Look, they aren't exactly legal." Kitteh said in a low voice. "THEY AREN'T LEGAL?!" I yelled, surprised. Kitteh shushed me, trying to not get me or herself arrested for talking about it. "Kitteh, you're going to go to jail if you keep going to those fights." I said in a serious tone. "I know, I know," she said, "But no one knows about them, since they rarely happen. And plus, its my only way to have fun in this boring ass town. Can you please keep a secret about this, Kooljo?"
"Does Chua know about the fights?" I asked. Kitteh nodded. I guess Chua was alright with Kitteh fighting muscular guys. "Fine, I'll keep it a secret." I said. I knew that the police would find out sooner or later, but I kept it a secret anyway, just to make Kitteh happy and not hate me.
