The Bucket List Chapter 2:
I just decided not to eat. My body ached. This last about 2 weeks. 2 weeks too long. My usual routine was tests, sleep, tests, sleep, occasional eating maybe, sleep, tests, and so on. It suck. I don’t even think I know what day it was. I don’t think I mentioned it but I have leukemia, it’s a cancer in the blood. I decided to take a nap before my usual test. I slowly closed my eyes, blackness taking over me.
I woke up to Carter poking me.
“Wazz up bitch.”
“Hey slut.”
I am glad Carter treats me like nothing is wrong, she treats me like I am normal. Which is the only thing I want. To be normal.
“Guess what?!”
“What?”
“I am going out with Niall.”
“Holy shit. Really!” The small amount of times that I went to school I met people. But, people don’t know I have cancer only Carter does. Niall is the most popular guy in school and really sweet.
“Are you official?” She nodded. I screeched.
“You guys are adorable.”
“I am surprised you remember.” I nodded I haven’t been to a public school in a couple of years. After a while I did “home schooling”.
“Well should get going you need rest babycakes.” I laughed.
“I love you.” “I love you too.”
Right when she left doctors and nurse came in. Right the tests, I forgot about them after the small amount of normal in my life.
