The Bucket List Chapter 14:

I woke up to the sound of pouring perfect just perfect. I got up and changed into some black jeans, combat boots, a grey knitted sweater and a coat. I put on a beanie to hide my head. I texted Harry wanting to know if we could hang out. He replied saying he was on his way. As I waited, I started to think. What were Harry and I? Were we together? Was he my boyfriend? Were we just really good friends, after what 6 days? I mean he was so nice to me, nicer than anyone I knew. He actually seemed to care. I was thankful. I was actually pretty thankful for living this long. Considering what I have. I thought about how protective and caring Harry was. How he made me smile for real, of happiness not hiding my deep sadness. He made me forget about everything. I wanted to be with him. I know it is a risk. It’s a huge one. I am going to die in what 2 years, I don’t have that long. And it kills me how I may never get to be with him, start a family, die old happy. I want that, but I can’t have everything.

*Knock knock*

I jumped startled from my deep thought. I answered it to reveal a smiling Harry showing his dimples. Oh they make me melt, everything about him makes me melt. I couldn’t take it. I just wanted to jump into his warm arms, but I restrained myself.

“Come in.” he entered.

“What do you want to do?” I said. He put on a thinking face and smiled.

“Let’s do gutter boat racing.” I smiled. I had to remind myself to take that off my list.

“Okay!” I ran to go get paper. I set the paper on the table. We both sat down and started to fold. I was pro at making these things since I had nothing better to do in the hospital. I finished my large boat. I smiled I looked at Harry who was staring at me.

“What? Is something wrong?” He shook his head.

“No it’s just that when you were making that, you had this face and it was adorable. You are adorable.” I blushed. He chuckled.

“I see you built your boat.” I joked. Harry only folded the paper in half.

“I can’t make these things.” I giggled. I reached over and helped him. I finished.

“Okay Lets go!” I grabbed my boat and ran out. I didn’t care if it was pouring rain. I enjoyed it. Harry squatted next to me. We both set our boats down at the same and followed them. Mine was winning. I was smiling and laughing. Especially when Harry’s sank. I caught mine and continued laughing while Harry was still squatting. I walked over to him, btu slipped in the process. Harry quickly reacted and caught me. I was under him on the grass. His back was probably completely soaked. We stared at each other’s eyes  for what seemed like forever. We both started leaning in until a car passes by, splashing a huge amount of water onto us, or Harry. We both started laughing and decided to walk back in. I gave him some of my fathers clothes and we both changed. While Harry was still changing I started a fire on the fireplace and made some tea and hot chocolate. It was freezing. The wonderful life in London. I sat down on a pillow and started drinking my tea. I felt Harry sitting next to me taking a sip of the hot chocolate. I set the cup down and laid down put my legs on top of the coffee table.

“Did you have fun?” Harry said.

I nodded. “I always wanted to do that.” He smiled and nodded. I didn’t know how close we were until I felt Harry’s warm breath. I got goosebumps. We both leaned in until our lips met. His were warm and soft. Another check. We both pulled away and smiled. I laid down on his chest listening to his steady heartbeat. We intertwined our legs and he held me closer. He took my beanie off.

“You look prettier without it.” He whispered. I blushed. He rubbed the side body. My eyes started to close. For once I didn’t feel cold and alone, I felt warm an
