Chapter 27

The Bucket List Chapter 27:

Today it was raining, kind of hard to be honest. But, I think it will stop any minute. It was already 12 and Harry had some band things to do so I was just staying home. He was going to be home soon. I heard the door open and close and I knew it was Harry. I gave him an extra key to my house.

“Hey darling?” Harry said.

“Yes Harry?” I said. I saw him walk in with his Harry somewhat wet from the rain.

“I was thinking maybe we could get a bunch of Chinese food then after go on a drive?”

“Sure we can do that.”

“Great, because I already ordered the Chinese food.” I laughed.

“You crazy kid. How did you know that I was going to say yes?”

“I didn’t but I mean you can’t resist this.” He said pointing at himself. I laughed and playfully slapped his arm.

*knock knock*

“I got it.” Harry said. I saw him going to the door as I started going through my phone. Harry came back with a cardboard box of Chinese food.

“Jeez Harry this is a lot.” He chuckled.

“I know where we are going we need the energy.” I nodded and grabbed one white box and some chopsticks. Harry grabbed one also and we sat down on the couch.

*45 minutes later*

We finished most of the boxes and put the left over’s in the fridge.

“Fortune cookie time.” Harry shouted while tossing me one.

“What does yours say?” I said.

“A wonderful gift will soon be in your possession.” He said smiling. “How about you?”

“Something unexpected will happen to you in the future.” I said. I gave a Harry a weird look. “That is sketchy.” Harry said. I laughed.

“We should get going before it gets too dark.” Harry said while putting on his coat. I nodded “Let me change first.” I ran upstairs and changed into some gray sweats, caramel colored UGGs, a gray v-neck, a maroon hoodie. I walked out and grabbed Harry’s hand. We went into Harry’s car and he quickly started the car and drove out of the drive way.

*2 hours later*

“Are we there yet?” I complained. We have been driving for like 2 hours and it was taking forever.

“Yeah we are actually here.” Harry said. He turned off the engine and took out the keys. He opened my door like a gentleman, led me down the road. It was still wet from the recent rainfall.

“Okay stand right here.” Harry said while carefully making me standing in the middle of the road.

“I will get hit.”

“I will never let that happen.”

“What are we doing here?”

“Remember you wanted to be in two places at once, so we are.” I looked at the nearest sign that had ‘Welcome to Oxford’ and the one next to it ‘Come back to London’ I smiled.

“You did it.”

“I did it for you and only you.”

“Thank you, for everything. I feel so spoiled.”

“I will spoil you so much, so get used to it.” Harry then picked me up bridal style and put me back into the car. We drove back home and he dropped me off at my house. I took a quick shower and changed from my clothes. I slid into my bed and laid down. I reached for my journal and turned to page 15.

2/16/13:Today Harry and I didn’t hang out till like noon but that is alright. When he came we ate boxes and boxes of Chinese food. I got a strange fortune cookie “Something unexpected will happen to you in the future.” Strange right? Then after, we drove 2 hours. Long two hours, but also one of the best. Harry made me stand in the middle of the road and we were in border of Oxford and London. Amazing. Truly Amazing.

I flipped to the 1st page like always and checked off “Be in two places at once” I shut my journal and put it in my nightstand. I laid back down and stared at the ceiling, replaying what happened tonight until I fell asleep.
