We all woke up early. About 6:00. And I was tired. When Matt tried to wake me up I "accidentally kicked him". I felt bad. I always take my brother for granted. I never really think about how lucky I am to be his sister. When I got bullied, he stood up for me. At that party last year, when the girl hosting the party stated talking about me behind my back calling me really rude things, he came and picked me up and talked to the girl's mom.
"Are you excited?" Ask Aaliyah, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah," I say with a small smile.
"Are you okay?" Aaliyah ask. When I look at the worry on her face I immediately feel bad.
"I'm fine." I say, trying to muster a bigger smile this time.
Aaliyah nods and looks content with my answer. But I keep thinking about how spoiled I am. I'm so lucky yet I never seem to understand that. I don't deserve my life......I don't deserve Matt."Earth to Kirsten?" Aaliyah asked.
"Yes?"
"We're leaving! Let's go! Oh my god I'm so excited!"
I laugh at her once more but nevertheless I follow her and everyone else outside and see a limo.
"Wow," that's all I could think to say.
"I KNOW RIGHT?!?!" Aaliyah shrieks.
"Aaliyah! It's 7:30 in the morning! People are still asleep, quiet down," Shawn says calmly.
Aaliyah slaps a hand over her mouth.
"Sorry," she whispers. We all get into the limo. Shawn and Matt talk to Aaliyah and I the whole ride about staying together and staying in the building at all times.
"Chill your grill Matt, I'll be fine! Shawn, same thing! We are going to be absolutely fine!"
"Chill your grill?" Nash ask.
"Don't ask her... It's probably just going to be a dumb explanation!" Matt says.
As we get to Magcon Shawn and Matt say goodbye and give us some money to spend but then we go our own ways.
"Who are those cute guys? They look around our age!" Aaliyah says.
"Let's go talk to them!" I say.
What? They were cute!Aaliyah walks (more like runs) up to them as I chase her.
"What can we do for a couple of cute girls like you?" The tallest one says.
"Um...well... I...uh..." Aaliyah says, suddenly becoming lost in the tallest ones eyes.
" I'm Kirsten, this is my best friend Aaliyah. And you are?"
"I'm Dylan," the tall one says."This is Mark," he points to a boy that's about Aaliyah and I's height. "And that's Nick," he points to a boy coming our way. I am lost. There were never boys this cute at my school.
Dylan was tall with sandy hair and blue eyes.
Mark was a bit shorter with bright blonde hair and green eyes with glasses.
And Nick, oh boy, he was the same height as Dylan with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
When he saw me he was awestruck. It felt good to be noticed.
Suddenly, it was just Nick and I. I saw Aaliyah with Dylan. Dylan was throwing popcorn into her mouth while she tried to catch it. She was failing miserably and making them both laugh.
"So..." Nick says.
"Hi... I'm-"
"Kirsten. I know." He says with a warm smile.
We just sit there smiling for a good couple of seconds.
"So I barely know you but, you seem really nice and you are definitely pretty, so wanna maybe go out with me? It seems that my friend Dylan and Aaliyah really hit it off.""Yeah sure."
We exchange phone numbers then go over to Aaliyah and Dylan and pull our friends separate
ways.We go backstage and see all the boys.
"Ready to head out?" Matt ask.
Aaliyah and I both nod. We head out to the limo then back to the hotel, Aaliyah and I smiling the whole way.
