"I wish the summer would never end" she told him. "In a way it won't. The tan lines may fade but the memories won't. Whenever you're sad just think of this night, with me and all your friends." he told her. The girl smiled at the boy. "I suppose you're right. I just don't know how to leave all of this behind" she replied. "You'll leave it behind the same way you do every year, silly girl. It's not that much different!" the boy said with a laugh. "But this time I have you and that's all the difference I need." she answered. They both began to lean in at the same time.
And right before their lips touched, Nova Sparks's alarm for school went off.
