Valerie stared at her friend after she finished her story. "So Bo Smith talked to you and you sat there like a mute before running into the door and walking away?" She asked. "Well when you put it like that it's not as magical" Nova sarcastically replied. Her head- and ego- still hurt from last night. "You should really just say he saved you from a robber" Valerie said. Nova didn't bother answering her. She didn't see the big deal that Bo Smith was made out to be. He'd seen her since her freshman year and he was just now paying attention to her? What the hell. She wasn't a social butterfly, but he knew Danni and Valerie. It angered her that Bo was just now taking interest in getting to know her.
Bo's POV:
Bo got to school 20 minutes late. It was the fourth time this month that he'd shown up late. He couldn't walk through the front doors without seeing Nova crashing into them the night before. The other thing that had stuck with him was the way she looked up a him when he walked up. He desperately wanted to know who made her look as if she was frightened to be around him. He wanted Nova to talk to him more. Last night proved she'd actually speak to him if she wasn't listening to music. As he walked to his first period class, he thought of all the times he'd seen Nova. Smiling with her friends, lost in a song or in her thoughts, angry, or just bored. He'd always paid attention to Nova's wide range of emotions. But someone standing in front of him brought him to attention. "Bo Tyler Smith!" Bailey snapped. Oh god not now. He literally froze in his spot. "Bailey?" He asked. Bo was hoping his mind was playing tricks on him. "No crap Bo. Why didn't you text me back last night!?" She said. So that's what she was mad about? Him not texting back? "My workout ran late, as am I so we can finish this another time." Bo snapped. After he got around her, he rolled her eyes. He didn't have to explain every little thing to her. That wasn't his job. He didn't want clingy and Bailey didn't always want clingy either so what had changed? Shaking his head at his girlfriend, he walked into class.
