Chapter Thirty Three

Prom Night
Bo's POV:
"Man prom is going to be so lame." Ashton said as he tied his tie. "You're going with Valerie. There's no way you'll be bored." I said while I shaved. It had been two weeks since I asked Nova to go to prom with me, and I haven't seen her much since. "I'm only going because of her man I swear. Before I got with her, I would've never went to this thing." Ashton said. "It wouldn't have been worth going."

"You're gonna make me throw up man." I told him jokingly. I heard him laugh in the other room and he told me "You've got it just as bad for Nova as I do Valerie". I looked down at my sink and smiled. "See what I mean." Ashton said as if he were proving his point.

"She doesn't even like me like that anymore dude." I told him. "She's always with you at school. Y'all have sex like once a week. She's met Tanya and Larry!" Ashton said.  "Just ask her to be your girl again."

"Like I haven't tried man." I said as I grabbed my suit out of the closet. My tie was navy blue to match Nova's dress, or that's what color Valerie told me she'd be wearing.

"She's into you man. She wouldn't be going to prom with you if she didn't." Ashton said as he walked out of my bedroom.

Nova's POV
"It's not worth it. Him and I don't date. He could go with Bailey. I heard her and Jason broke up." I said as Valerie and Danni curled my hair.

"Yeah and she's pregnant." Valerie said rolling her eyes. "Besides he doesn't want to go with her. He asked you." Danni stayed silent as she curled my hair; only adding input here and there. "He's gonna take one look at you and shit bricks. I'm telling you." Valerie told me.

"We aren't even dating." I groaned. Bo and I had sex and went on secret dates which were always interrupted. "And who's fault is that?" Valerie said at the same time Danni cursed because she burned her finger.  Of course she knew Bo had been asking me to be his girlfriend again.

"The amount of information he tells Ashton is scary." I told her. I eyed my dress from where it was hanging. They both convinced me to get a floor-length navy blue with rhinestones around the chest area. I was more worried about tripping and busting my ass than my hair falling out of its curls halfway through the event.

"Well at least he does tell him stuff. I found out you and Bo finally had sex from my boyfriend. Not my best friend." Valerie complained. I rolled my eyes at her comment and began to apply my makeup.

"Tonight's going to be perfect Nova don't worry. Bo will be the perfect date." Danni said as she grabbed her keys to leave.

Almost an hour later, Ashton and Bo had finally arrived. Valerie looked like she was going to throw up from her nerves, but I was ready to get this over with. Bo could be going with someone he'd have fun with but he chose to go with me.

"Do I look okay?" Valerie said as she fidgeted with her dress. Her dress was a royal purple that stopped just above her knees. The less clumsy Cinderella got the short dress. It was karma at its finest.

"You look hot. Just stop trying to make your boobs any bigger. Ashton will stare hard enough." I said as I smiled at her. She looked beautiful and I was sure her and Ashton would have an amazing time. "You do too. Stop worrying about what will happen. It's not like there's any pressured sex involved." Valerie said as we walked out of my room.

Bo and Ashton were standing in front of the stairs, and Tommy and Radly were grilling each of them with questions.

"What's a prom?" Tommy asked. "It's when boys and girls get dressed up and they dance together." Ashton told him. "Ewwww! Boys dance with girls? But they have cooties!" Tommy said as he gagged at the thought.
