Chpt. 5~ The Wait

Jake's POV~

She was so cute I thought. Then I turned around and walked to go get her a drink. I heard tons of noise and shuffling around me. I found some beer but decided she probably wouldn't want that. I grabbed some water and decided you can't go wrong with that. All of a sudden I heard a very loud scream. Everybody turned to there and I already knew who it was. I ran over to the area and saw a guy was getting all up on Kate. She looked extremely frightened and before I got her attention I saw her hit her head and fall to the ground. Blake slid forward and caught her while I punched the dude who was trying to rape Kate. We put her down on the couch to the right. Blake and some other people stayed right by her side. Finally people cleared out and I let my parents know that I would be coming home tomorrow that way I could stay with Kate. Blake kept re- icing her head. Percy kept pouring some water into her mouth. I held her hand and I waited till those beautiful eyes would flutter open. Some girls were staying by her side also and one had tears in her eyes. I felt the grip of her hand tighten and I knew she would be up very soon. Blake came back over with a hot rag and he started cooing her name. I looked in disgust and jealousy. Finally it stopped but only because she woke up. "W-what happened?"Kate asked confusedly. "Shh"- I placed my fingers to her lips. Blake glared at me but then said," I think it's time I take you home". I turned my body straight towards him and my blood boiled. " That's okay, I'll take her ". " I brought her I'll take her home" Blake spat at me. My body froze up, did he just win our little argument? "Kate?"I asked looking at her with open eyes. " Yes?", she said giving me a sweet smile. " Text me when you get home,just to be sure you're safe." I gave my most convincing excuse when really I just wanted to talk to her. She winked at me. Blake lifted her up and walked with her out of the door. I stared at the door. I was falling in love and I didn't know what to do.

A/N so sorry for the late update. Thanks for the support I've been quite busy with non stop rehearsals and performances at school. I finally have some free time so expect more chapters. Also I have received many characters through PM , so thank you for that. I'll leave this open for a little longer but some new characters shall be in the story very soon!
