Kate's POV~
I went home feeling happy. There's no denying I didn't like that kiss. It was magical but I just didn't want to have a relationship like this. I want him to know I'm not just another pretty face. Maybe I did want this. Maybe I did want Jake but was it wrong? "Kay you okay?"my dad was the only one who called me that. "Yeah I think I'm just going to take a walk". "Okay hun but be back in 20 minutes dinner is almost ready!". "alright sure" I said with a smile.
I stepped outside and took in my surroundings. The air was fresh and filled my lungs so very smoothly. I kept walking along when I heard a familiar voice. Oh my gosh I thought. It's Blake, what great timing. I mentally cursed myself. "Kate?" He asked panting. "Aye Blake!" I said not really wanting to talk. "You okay?".
"Oh yeah just taking a walk"I lied.
"May I walk with you?"he asked sweetly with his puppy dog eyes. How could I say no? " Yeah sure." I said laughing at his face. We started walking and I didn't even realize I was leaning on him. There was a nice area with a bench up ahead and we decided to sit down. "Let me see something" Blake stated. He grabbed my hand and put ours up towards each other. "Yup my hand is way bigger than yours". I chuckled. I felt his soft hands keep brushing up against mine and then they were intertwined. I looked at him. I leaned my head on his shoulder and listened to the leaves blowing in the wind. He was a good friend. He walked me all the way back home to make sure I was safe. Jake.... That's who I wanted. At the door I found a letter addressed to me. I opened it up:
Kate ,
Meet me by the rec room at school
Love
Your one and only
What the heck I know that's not Blake could it be Jake.... Should I even meet him. I guess it would be fine. He can't do anything we're at school.
