Jake's POV~~~
What was she doing over there!!! Everybody already knows her and she's just-- ugh...who's that guy?! I was practically screaming in my head. How could I be so jealous of that guy when I'm not dating her. Why can't I forget about her I mean I get all the girls I want, But you want her. It's just my hormones yeah...that's what it is. "Uh hello?" a girl is saying quite annoyingly. "What?" I asked uninterested. " Jake will you please come to party? This weekend my place. You like get tons of people to come." She said desperately. " Oh haha sure" I said flashing my best smile. She was melting. " You wanna sit with me?" I asked her sweetly. " Me sit with you? YES" she answered a bit to quickly. We sat down at the table and all of the jocks were sitting at the table. " I know right" another girl said. I wasn't paying attention to anything I just couldn't stop looking across the room at her. " Can you believe this girl" I heard Catherine say. " Yeah I mean everybody already loves her." Josh said with a grin. " I really want to hate her but I can't she's too sweet!" another girl chimed in. " Wait who are you talking about?" I asked already knowing the answer in the back of my head. " Kate." a bunch of people said in unison.  " I hear she's like in every club", " She's so pretty", " Is she a model". All this gossiping and whispering was around me. Wow....Kate I really want to have a chance with her. "I'm going to go say hi to her" I said standing up. I was going to but really I just had to stop staring across the room and get the guts to talk to her. Everyone stopped for a second but just nodded. I got up and walked over to a far table across the room. All the people were laughing and smiling.  Finally she turned her head and saw me. Her gorgeous eyes widened. "Hey!" I said walking closer. " Jake hey!" she exclaimed as she got up to come over to me. " So...any particular reason you're coming over here?" she asked. I panicked I just decided to ask her if she was going to the party on Saturday. " Oh a party? How fun I'll see. Text me the details" She said with a cute tone. " Alright." was all I could make out. " Haha see ya then!" she said while turning back to her friends. Wow I'm just so stupid all I could say was alright. I frowned at myself but walked on.  The rest of the day was a blur before I knew it I was at home and was excited to actually text her!

Awe that's sweet. You were my first friend at this school though. I just wanted to thank you for that.
I was? I feel like everybody knows you and I'm honored. Haha

I couldn't stop smiling at my phone. Eventually I drifted off into sleep.
