LIFE sometimes includes hardship.
When tests come, we have choices: hold on to our ideals or drop them.
When life's circumstances sound like "aprroaching thunder", remember the simple truth in the life of a young Jewish girl-"I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery, and death."
A foundation made of the right ingredients makes for an overcoming life. Holding tightly to one's ideals no matter the circumstance is a hallmark of character.
Hope- real hope- often stands alone in the darkness.
