The sun from the back door shine brightly on my face, forcing me to wake up. I sat up and stretched my arms, took me a couple seconds to realise I had nothing in my home. I got up and walked outside the balcony. The birds chirping, the sound of kids at the pool early in the morning, it was all soothing. Until I heard the sound of a giant pick up truck, and by no surprise, I see Harry walking to the truck, picking up boxes and carrying them to his apartement. Along with him was a young girl. I'd say around 14-15 years old. I wonder who it was.
"Good Morning!" I heard Harry yell from near the truck, waving over at me with a big cheesy smile on his face.
"Good Morning!" I waved and yelled back.
I walked back into my apartement, and realised I had no food for breakfast. I was short on money because I still hadn't found a job. I've only been here 2 weeks. I figured I'd have enough to buy something to eat.
I searched through my bag for clean clothes to wear, I pulled out some jeans, and a short sleeved t-shirt. Of course, I had no makeup to wear, and no brush to comb my hair. I got a pencil from one of the drawers and used it to pin up my hair. As I was about to close the drawer, I saw the piece of tape with harrys number, I chuckled, and closed the drawer. Why would he give me his number? He was a bit of a flirt.
I grabbed my bag and keys and walked out the door, as I walked down the staircase of the building, I saw the young girl that was with harry a while ago, walking by me.
"Hello! " She greeted me with the same accent, and the same smile, as Harrys.
"Hi" I smiled and waved back.
"Amber! Don't leave my sight like that, something could happen to you!" I heard Harry running over from his apartement, to the young girl.
"I'm sorry" She responded whilst she hugged him.
"This is my little sister Amber" He told me.
"Pleased to meet you hun" I shook her hand with a wide grin. I never had a little sister, I always wanted one. Someone who can come to me for advice, and stuff. That'd be nice.
"So um, where you headed?" I was distracted by harrys question.
"Just to get something to eat, they swept out my entire apartement, and still have no food!" I jokingly laughed.
Harry shyly smiled and shrugged.
"You mind if we come? We've been unpacking all day and could use a bite. On me!"
The thought of having company while I went out, made me feel happy.
"Of course!" I said with a big grin "But I can't let you pay fo-" I was cut off.
"Remember how you said you wanted to re pay me?"
"Umm, yeah"
"Then as your 're pay' let me buy you breakfast." He looked straight into my eyes.
I nodded my head and smiled.
"Alright."
"Alright, Amber wait here, i'm gonna go grab my keys!"
"Ok!" Amber stood beside me whilst we both waited.
"So whats your name" she asked.
"Scarlet."
"Wow! Thats a really pretty name!"
"Thank you!"
"Hey wanna know something?" She leaned a bit closer to me.
"Whats up?"
"I think my brother likes you."
"What would make you think that?" I chuckled.
