Side Story: Plain Vanilla vs. French Vanilla

"French is better than plain." Tetsuko said to Tetsuya as they wait for their milkshakes. "It is creamier, and the texture is really rich."

"Not so!" Tetsuya countered. "Plain vanilla is the best! The color is white as snow, and is taste milkier than your French vanilla."

"French vanilla is exquisite."

"Plain vanilla is elegant."

"French vanilla is amazing."

"Plain vanilla is simple and delightful.

"French vanilla is heart-stirring. When you taste the flavor, you would feel as if you were floating on fluffy cotton clouds at twilight."

Tetsuya puffed his cheeks.

"It looks like I could still kick you out of that stoic facade of yours," Tetsuko grinned at Tetsuya as he ruffled his younger brother's hair. "Want a Pocky?"

"No." Tetsuya pushed his brother's hand out of the way. "You are despicable."

"Too bad then. I had brought a rare deluxe triple-vanilla flavored Pocky just for you." Tetsuko held up a small blue box out-of-no-where. "Since you don't seem to want it, I'll just throw it away." He tossed the box towards a trash can.

Before it could even hit the trash can, Tetsuya disappeared from beside Tetsuko's side and grabbed the box. Tetsuko gave him a knowing gleam.

"You really are despicable." Tetsuya munched on the Pocky as a waitress brought their milkshakes. "Really, really, despicable."

Tetsuko just grinned victoriously, eating his own Pocky-cookies and cream and French vanilla flavors.
