"Who's Noelle?" A voice awoke Calum.

Calum abruptly sat up to see Luke sat on the edge of his bed.

"W-what are you doing?" He asked groggily, rubbing his eyes.

"Why is your name Nate?"

Luke looked confusedly between the screen on the laptop and Calum. Calum tried to hastily grab the laptop but Luke moved away.

"Are you like doing a catfish?"

"Doing a catfish? What does that even mean?" Calum rubbed his eyes again to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

"Calum, have you been taking drugs or something?"

"What? No."

"Why are you acting so weird recently?"

"Can you just go away?"

To Calum's relief, Luke rolled his eyes and stood up and walked out of the room. He knew that Luke would - without a doubt - annoy him about this.

-

"I'm just talking to a girl," Calum said to Luke.

"Why is your name Nate though?" Luke asked inquisitively.

"Because I don't want her to know that I'm–well, me," He elucidated, trying to make it seem not catfish-like.

"So you're a catfish," Luke laughed.

"Stop saying that," Calum grunted. He hardly got any sleep because he had literally been asked and asked back 100 questions. His lack of sleep amplified his indignation towards Luke and if he wasn't completely out of energy, he would probably punch Luke.

3rd May 2015

43 days before

Calum wanted to talk to Noelle but his jet lag was irritating him and he was exhausted. His and his band's tour was starting the next day and he kept thinking about what it would be like to meet Noelle at one of his shows. On the one side, he didn't know what she looked like or even if she was who she said she was but he had spent hours talking to her and a part of him knew that she wasn't lying.

Calum had to spend the whole day doing preparation stuff for his tour and after Luke had found out about Noelle, he relentlessly teased Calum about it.

"Her name is Noelle, Calum had a dream about her," Luke sang these altered lyrics to Teenage Dirtbag at least ten times to Calum and just like the day before, Calum wanted to punch his best friend.

-

"Can I get two meet and greet tickets for one of the London shows?" Calum asked Duncan, one of the tour people.

It was wasteful getting two as Calum would obviously not need a ticket but he thought it would seem more 'legit' when he sent a picture to Noelle.
