It wasn't a few days. It was fourteen days. Two weeks. The time went by fairly quick for Calum. He had performed at eight more shows and had sat through several interviews.
He forced himself to put her to the back of his mind because he wanted to enjoy the tour. Also, he didn't want his bandmates - especially Luke - to question him about her so he had to keep up his happy facade.
Fortunately, at 11pm he received a message from her.

what else has happened in the world of Nate?
So Calum told her that his job was great and he loved it and then she told him about college and what it was like. (He only asked about that since he dropped out of school.) He also asked about what it's like living in London, although Calum already knew. His guilt got increasingly bigger and he was considering telling her but as selfish of him as it was, he didn't want to lose her.

The next two weeks were far better than the last. Calum spoke to Noelle for at least an hour each day as he had been in the same time zone as her. They talked about 5sos frequently and it definitely made Calum go all gooey inside when Noelle rambled about how amazing Calum is - obviously without knowing he was on the receiving end of those messages.
It was only 11 days until they were going to meet and he could already feel the nerves kicking in.
