noelle: going to judge you if you don't like it
nate: it's a classic
nate: loads of people serenade their girlfriends with that song
noelle: life goals: have calum hood sing it to me
nate: aha it could happen you never know
Calum did feel a little guilty for lying to Noelle but he genuinely had no idea he would still be talking to her. He honestly didn't know what he was doing.
nate: TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR WONDERFUL SELF
noelle: your wonderful self?
nate: shhhhh
noelle: right well
noelle: so my name is noelle, i'm 17 and i'm from the depths of hell
nate: okay den
nate: are you at school still
noelle: yeah at college
nate: what are you studying
noelle: creative writing, psychology, business and sociology
nate: smart stuff
noelle: well what about you
noelle: are you going to university or something
nate: nope
nate: i want to do something in music
noelle: you could be the future calum hood
nate: not as awesome though
Calum's ego just had to write that.
nate: what's your favourite movie?
noelle: love actually
nate: i haven't seen it
noelle: you don't read and you haven't seen love actually smh
noelle: if you weren't really nice i would ditch you

noelle: this is getting too cheesy now let's talk about 5sos
Calum laughed and started rambling to Noelle about the ROWYSO tour and about all the songs they might play. He was so tempted to just tell her that he was Calum Hood but he didn't know how that would turn out and he really wanted to carry on talking to her.
The rest of the day Calum spent with his band at an interview and he didn't realise that he had hardly been talking to them until Ashton brought it up at dinner.
"Calum, are you going to tell us why you've been so distant lately?" He asked.
"I haven't been distant," Calum said as he twisted the spaghetti onto his fork.
His bandmates scoffed in response and glance at each other.
"Is it a girl?" Michael asked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
"No," He lied.
Calum didn't want them to find out about what he was doing because they would just continuously annoy him about it.
"It's obviously a girl," Michael mused which made Calum roll his eyes.
"I'm going back to my room." He stood up and glared at his friends.
"To talk to your girlfriend?" Luke asked as he walked away.
"Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing to do," He grunted sarcastically and put his middle finger up at his irritating friends.
He loved them really...sometimes.
When he got back to his hotel room, he immediately when onto the chat room but to his disappointment, Noelle wasn't online.
There were several things Calum needed to do but he had neglected most of his responsibilities because of his bad habit of procrastinating. Instead of doing them he decided to watch the tv show that Noelle had mentioned when they had started talking for the first time.
He typed in Gossip Girl into Google to find out what the show was actually about.
"Privileged teens living on the Upper East Side of New York can hide no secret from the ruthless blogger."
Calum didn't want to judge it by the name or the description but from the information it didn't seem very good - well not a show he would like anyway.
It had a teenage girl appeal so since a lot of the fans of his band were teenage girls he could just ask them.

After receiving many replies that said it was, he found the first episode online, grabbed some food and watched it.

"Shit!" Calum exclaimed as he fell out of his bed and landed flat on his face.
He pushed himself off the floor and his hand reached up and groped the beside table in search for his phone.
5:50pm
It took him a few seconds to realise that the reason he had woke up in the evening was because he went to sleep at 8am.
As much as he didn't want to admit it to himself, he had got addicted to Gossip Girl and may or may not have watched fourteen episodes.
After climbing back onto his bed, he pulled his laptop next to him and went onto the chat room.
noelle: i won't be on here for a while, probably just a few days idk
Calum had been excited to speak to her and that was the only message he has got from her in the past day.
nate: oh right okay
