Chapter 21 : Meeting Caroline

"So Niall told me Harry is bringing Caroline with him to the dinner tonight?" Valerie said.

"I guess. I didn't even invite her." I scoffed.

I set up a dinner for the boys, Valerie and I. It was a congratulating dinner for the boys. I've gotten close to all of them, especially Zayn and Liam.

"Are you okay about this? It's your dinner you can kick her out."

"No, y'know what? Let her come. She'll regret coming." 

I said, planning a plan in my head.

"Carmen..." Valerie trailed off.

"Um, pretend I didn't say that."

Valerie shrugged as we kept watching Vampire Diaries in my room.

For the dinner, I decided to wear a dark red dress. It's collared, it has a little slip that shows my belly button. I wore it with black pumps, my hair curled to one side. I put on red lipstick, eyeliner and blush.

I walked out of my room, and Valerie stood. "Damn you look so beautiful!" Valerie cooed. "Aw shucks, you too babe." I winked. She laughed.

Valerie wore a teal dress, it was tight and fit her curves well. She wore silver glittery pumps, her hair up, and nude lipstick.

"You ready?" She asked, getting the keys. "Yup! I got my purse and phone with me!" I smiled. "Let's go." Valerie said, closing the door behind us when we walked out.

We went into my car, and the fancy restaurant was only twenty minutes away. We turned up the radio and Treasure by Bruno Mars came up. Valerie and I sung our lungs out.

We laughed at the end, we hit the notes we've been practicing too. Valerie pulled up to the parking lot. We noticed a bunch of black vans surrounded the area.

Valerie parked the car, but we didn't get out. The paparazzi surrounded the place. Even the entrance. I decided to call Liam.

"Liam? Are you here yet?"

"Just got here. Are you?"

"Uh yeah, but there's a problem."

"What is it?" Liam's voice sounded worried.

"There's paparazzi in the front entrance."

"Oh, go through the back. There's our bodyguard, Paul, he'll get you guys."

"Okay. Thanks Liam!"

"No problem, see you."

"Bye."

Valerie looked at me, suspiciously. "What'd Liam say?" Valerie asked. "He said Paul his bodyguard is waiting for us in the back." Valerie nodded as she pulled the car out the spot and dive behind the restaurant.

We spotted a large man, in all black, guarding the back door. Valerie just parked the car and we hurriedly walked to Paul. "Are you Carmen and Valerie?" Paul asked. "Yeah are you Paul?" Paul nods. "Nice to meet you girls. Liam and the boys are in the private room you requested." Valerie and I nodded.

We walked in the room. Niall, Louis, Liam, and Zayn sat. They were all in tuxes. "Awe! You guys are smoking!" I laughed, hugging each of them. "Agreed!" Valerie laughed, doing the same.

Since it was a circular table, I sat next to Liam, and Valerie sat next to Niall. I've always thought Niall and Valerie would look cute together. Ever since they met three days ago in the shop. I could tell by the way Valerie laughed when next to Niall.

"So, where's Harry?" I asked Liam. "Um, he's getting Caroline." He awkwardly shifted himself. "Oh, okay." I scoffed. "Soo, you guys have like 12 more days here left?" I changed the subject.

"Yup! Tomorrow we're planning to go to the zoo. Would you like to join?" Liam asked, sipping his tea he ordered. "Um, I don't wanna barge." I trailed off. "Oh please you aren't barging us. My treat for the lovely dinner." Liam smiled. "Uh, okay. Only cause that smile gave in on me." I winked.

The lady ordered Valerie and I's drinks. Sooner or later, the two clowns came.

We were all in a conversation when a different voice cleared their throat behind us. Harry stood, with Caroline. "Hey guys." Harry said. "Hey..." All of our voices said, from trailing off. Looking away from Caroline and Harry.

"You're sitting next to Louis and Niall." Zayn said. So it was Liam, Me, Louis, Harry, Caroline, Niall, then Valerie. I had my phone laid on my lap, watching incase.

The lady ordered Harry and Caroline's drink. "Caroline, that's Carmen and Valerie. Girls, this is Caroline." Harry said. "Hi." was all I said. "Yeah hi whatever." Valerie scoffs, her bitch mode has turned on. Watch out.

"Okay?" Caroline snapped, turning her head and talking to Harry. I decided to text Valerie. "Bitchy much? (;" I showed Liam the text, his eyes widen. "Well shucks, her ugly face is on my last nerve, she better watch her sorry ass. (;" I look up at Valerie, evily smirking while talking to Niall.
