Chapter 27 : Surprises

A few months passed. One Direction finished their tour two weeks ago, and every boy is at their hometown. I stayed in town, while Harry stayed with his mum in England.

"Valerie, can you help me please?" I struggle, bringing in the groceries. "Dang girl, what'd you buy?" Valerie said, grabbing some bags out of my hands. "Things. I don't know, while I was out I decided to go to Walmart. Oh and by the way, I couldn't find the dress you wanted." I told Valerie.

She grabbed bags out of the trunk, and I helped. "Aw! I was really hoping to buy that. It was made for me!" Valerie dramatically said. I laughed, "Why do you want it so bad?" Valerie looked at me wide-eyed. "No reason."

"Okay?" I questioned. Valerie shrugged as she closed the front door behind me. I was putting away the groceries, Valerie exclaimed, "So I needed to pick up some things but my car didn't work. Can you get them for me?" Valerie asked.

"Why can't you just use my car?" I questioned. "I need to clean, um.. My room!" Valerie said. "Okay?", I pause, "What is it you need me to get?" Valerie thought. "Some tampons." I raise an eyebrow. "Tampons. You need tampons." I said. Valerie nods. "Fine. I'll be right back."

I get the car keys again and head to CVS. I go in and get Kotex tampons and pay for them. By the time I'm heading back, there happened to be a road work. Why haven't I seen this earlier?

I had to go all the way around back home. Great, and it's almost 100 degrees out. I scoff and I'm almost home.

I finally came home, twenty minutes later. I unlocked the door and a voice shouted, "SURPRISE!" I looked around, everyone including Harry was here. I dropped the bags and smiled.

"What are you guys doing here?" I smiled. "We came home." Harry smiled. Harry came up to me and hugged me, lifting me off my feet. "Welcome home babe." I whispered in his ear. "I missed you." Harry said in my ear. He let go of me to talk to the rest of the guys.

I said my 'hellos' to everybody. We hugged and we talked for a little. "C'mon guys lets go eat!" Niall said. We all sat, as Valerie and I brought out the food. Valerie cooked lasagna, chicken, carrots and corn bread. Nice job.

I grabbed the food on my plate and everyone dug in. "So how was the tour?" Valerie asked. "It was amazing. The fans were amazing." Liam said. I smiled. "Yeah. Traveling all around the world can be tiring but I enjoyed it." Zayn said.

"Were you guys like drained, or something?" I chuckled. "Yeah!" Louis exclaimed. Soon as everybody was done, Valerie got out the mint chocolate and the chocolate cookie ice cream. Seemed like everyone liked it, and e decided to watch a movie after.

"Let's watch um..." Zayn started to think. "Marley and me!" Niall exclaimed. "No! We always watch that." Liam complained. "How bout A Walk To Remember?" Louis said. How odd, I never thought he'd think to watch a movie like that.

"Okay." Valerie said. Harry and I just watched everyone think. Harry brought be on his lap and soothingly placed his hand on my thigh. Both of us watched Valerie put in the disc. "Can you get popcorn for us, please?" Niall asked. I groaned, "I'll be right back."

I walked towards the kitchen while Harry said, "I'll go with her!" Louis shouted, "Get it on!" Harry laughed while he came in the kitchen to join me. I got six packs of popcorn out of the pantry.
