I meet Harry Potter! Yay!

Months had passed, and I was already half way done with all the text books' work. It was Halloween and I still hadn't responded to the howler that was sent to me months ago. I was worrying about what to do for Christmas. If I went home, I'll be yelled at and most likely, be pulled out of Hogwarts. I had, of course, already told Ariana and Joel about my problems at the library during free period.

"I'm sure they're just threatening you." Ariana said.

"Yeah, or using guilt on you." Joel said. Ariana looked at him in agreement.

''Look, thanks for trying to be optimistic here, but when my parents say something, they mean it. I cant change their mind at all, and how exactly are they using guilt on me? What do they expect me to do, go home right now crying my eyes out and beg them to let me stay here? They just want the satisfaction of me being humiliated." I said putting my head under my arms. "They don't care about anything but themselves..."

There was an awkward moment of silence then finally, Joel spoke up.

"Wow," he said.

"What?" Ariana asked sounding irritated.

"Why didn't we think of this before?"

"What didn't we think of?"

"Just stay here for Christmas." he said. Wow. I am stupid.

"Wow, why didn't I think of that. Your a genius, Joel!" I exclaimed.

"Shh, I don't want to kicked out anytime soon," Ariana said, "but in all seriousness, we're stupid."

Joel had this smile on his face as he sat back in he chair "I know, your stupid."

"Really?" I asked. "What is a pulsar?"

"That's cheating!" he said "You already did the homework for that chapter."

"So should've you! It was in last weeks homework, remember?"

"I did the homework," he said back "but we all don't have your brain."

"Thanks." I said leaning back in my chair. "I know you don't. F.Y.I,  a pulsar is a rapidly spinning neutron star with an intense magnetic field that channels its radiation out along two narrow beams that sweep across the sky. You should've written that down somewhere."

"Oh! I did!" Ariana said holding a piece of parchment.

"Don't tell him though." I said.

"Aw, but you said that to fast!"

"So. We're in a library. Check out a book."

"But why get a book when we have you?" he smirked.

"I thought you were a genius."

"But~"

"I rest my case." I said as I got up with my books.

"Where are you going?" Ariana asked.

"Common room." I said.

"Why?"

"I'm done with this terms homework, so, I'm taking a well earned nap." I said smiling.

"OK, I guess we'll see you there." Joel said.

When it was time for dinner, I was awoken suddenly by Ariana .

"Wake up! Time for munchies!" she said, "And, saying its Halloween, I've heard that the feast is bigger and better then usual! Come on!"
