So what do you think of this story honestly. What would you like more of, less of. I appreciate constructive criticism.

It's so late I can't even think straight so idk if this makes sense but I'm trying here.

We had been sitting here in the deafening silence for atleast an hour. As weird as it sounded,
I'm not sure if it was a tense silence or a normal silence.

Being half asleep really fucked up your mindset.

"So.. Are you gonna tell me what happened last night?" He asks after a while.

"Dude, we literally have known each other for like, just a couple weeks. Do you really think I'm gonna spill my entire soul to you?" I ask.

"Uh... yeah." He says smirking raising his feet up and leaning them against my bed.

"I don't think so." I say crossing my arms in disagreement.

"I think you underestimate me Lace." He winks, taking a bite out of my bagel.

"Where did you get a bagel?" I ask scoffing.

"It was here when I woke up." He shrugs.

"What if it had drugs in it." I ask.

"How could it have- Hey! Stop changing the subject." He narrows his eyes at me.

"I just had a nightmare about my parents." I say.

"What happened?"

"You're being really damn nosy." I said getting angry. It wasn't his business.

"That's how I am."

"It's going to get you killed one day." I snap getting up and waking towards the door.

The cold tiles woke me up more by freezing my warm feet and I basically ran to the bathroom fuming.

Who did he think he was, asking me something so personal?

I sigh and splash my face with water. Then I look in the mirror.

"Sweet Mary Mother of Jesus!" I exclaim. The dark makeup I had fell asleep in last night and cried in was most definitely not waterproof.

I wonder how Zayn hadn't ran for the hills yet.

I take off my makeup, or what was left of it, and walk back to my room feeling slightly less angry.

"Sorry." Is the first thing Zayn tells me when I walk in the room. "I just worry about you."

"You worry about me?" I ask laughing sarcastically.

"It's kind of hard not to when I spend every living moment with you and start to see you differently." He says staring at me.

"In pity?" I say daringly.

"No. I don't pity you. You're the strongest person I know and I envy that you're so wonderful and strong headed. I wish I could be like you. Excluding the vagina part." He explains causing my heart to melt.
