I cannot believe I made out with Zayn. I knew it was probably going to happen but holy crap.
I need to tell someone or I'll explode. So as soon as Nurse Halle opens my door, I'm going to yell it out.
Zayn had to go home about an hour ago. He said it was Zoe's birthday and they had plans to do he wouldn't be back for a day or two. But I was perfectly fine with that, I needed time to think about what had happened because after all; I was a girl.
"Good morning L-"
"I made out with Zayn last night and we drank hot chocolate and star gazed and it was so cheesy, oh my god you should have saw it! He even carried me to bed, he's so sweet." I gush as soon and Halle walks in and I jump up and down, too excited to be still.
"Ohh Lacey! That's so romantic. Did he tell you he loves you?" She demands.
"What? No. Don't get to ahead of you self Halle. We aren't in a Nicolas Sparks movie." I exasperate. Even though I knew I was sort of being hypocrite by calling him so sweet and such.
"This is so cute." She says hugging me.
"I know!" I say, gushing over my awesome evening.
"So, I heard you went and visited Danny." She says after we talk a while about different things and she straightens up my room (with my help, of course).
"Oh, yeah, he's great. I think he's just depressed about his situation and taking it out on everyone." I explain smoothing out my blue pillow.
"Yeah, I'm sure he'll get better, especially if you and Zayn hang out with him." Halle says.
I nod my head as she says,"I guess I need to go get his lunch since he's bed ridden today. Poor boy, his new meds are kicking in and he's sick as ever. Would you like to do it, it may help him feel better?"
"Actually I would. If I don't I'll bore myself to death." I joke. And really, I wanted to talk to him alone, I feel like Zayn may have intimidated him slightly.
So ten minutes later, I found myself knocking on a cold wooden door with a tray of shitty food.
"I'm coming in." I say as soon as I'm done knocking, not waiting for an answer.
"Well thank god you at least respect privacy." Dan wheezes sarcastically.
Is goose to ignore his comment,"you look like complete shit." I laugh, only half joking.
"Speak for yourself."
"Asshole." I mutter under my breath.
"What's that?" He asks, pointing towards the tray in my hands.
"Chicken soup, a ham sandwich, and yogurt." I say walking up to his bed.
"I don't even think that's chicken. It's probably horse." He gags.
I snort. "You're probably right, but unfortunately for you, you're going to eat it. You need your strength."
He grumbles some crap about cruel punishment and scoots over so I can sit beside him.
"Here you are." I hand him a spoon and napkin.
"Thanks." He says and begins to eat.
"This really is shit." He laughs and grimaces as he lets the slimy substance run down his throat.
"Let me tell you a secret. I'm the best person you could have became friends with because I get Zayn to sneak in fast food." I joke.
"Thank you almighty gods for sending this cherish-able gift called Lacey." He replies dryly and I grin.
"That's the spirit." I elbow him lightly, knowing meds make you easy to bruise.
"Thanks.." He says later, after he had eaten and I as well a couple hours later.
"No problem." I knew he wasn't just talking about the soup. He was thanking me for being there and keeping him from being lonely. Just like I was thankful for him, Zayn, and a couple others that cared for me.

I sat alone one my bed, staring at the tv, but not really watching. A small smile graces my lips as I think about the past couple days.
I wasn't alone. I never really had been since I met Halle, but I felt nice to have friends that were my age too.
I didn't really have any possessions, because well, my house burned, but I had a couple pictures. I kept them put away because they made me sad and I ended up crying.
For reason though, I decided to get them out and look at them. One was a picture of me and my parents and the other was me and my friends. Or rather, old friends.
At first, I was devastated my parents would leave me but then I realized they really were in a better place. I missed them, but one day I would see them again.
I smiled as I remembered when we took the picture. It was my dads fortieth birthday and we went to a Mexican restaurant. He had on a sombrero and mom was holding a bowl of tortilla chips. I was between them and smiling a big smile at the camera and there was a salsa stain on my shirt.
I guess that means I never changed as I look down to see a chocolate pudding stain on my gown and laugh at my self.
My friends, on the other hand, I suppose I kept that picture because sometimes I missed the times we had together and how much fun we had. Then I think how they're not really my friends if they left, but somewhere deep inside I still missed them, so keep the picture.
My door opens and I look up. Zayn stood there grinning at me and I did the same. My family and even my old friends would always have a place in my heart, but it was time to move on.
I put the pictures down and look back up.
"You miss me?" He asks jokingly.
"Of course not." I reply sarcastically and he walks inside and shuts the door behind him.

This is the first time I've updated in over 6 MONTHS SHAKMANSNSMASJAKXKDM. Sorry to those who had been reading and I just stopped writing.
I hit a major writers block and kind of gave up. I'm thinking about picking it up again, but I would like opinions. So if you have one, please tell me.
Also this chapter probably isn't that well written because of the situation. Sorry.
