I lifted up my free arm and looked at my watch. It was almost 9:30pm, about an hour or so since Chappo left. I sighed, knowing he probably wouldn't come back until the morning at least. I decided sleeping was as good an idea as any, seeing as I couldn't really do anything else. I lay staring up at the couch, my eyes slowly getting heavier and soon enough I was drifting off to sleep.
I awoke to the sound of keys rattling in the door. "I still can't believe you did this Chappo, you don't know her back story, it could be in her nature to try and keep everyone happy, you just don't know, you shouldn't have stormed off without hearing her out" I heard a familiar voice say. "I know, I should have stayed more calm, but I just wish she would trust me more, her problems are my problems too. I love her Azza, I really do." I heard Azza mumble a reply, and the door opened.
"Shit Chappo, did you flip the couch with anger?" Azza asked. "I don't think so, I can't remember it's all kind of a blur. I remember pushing her chair away in frustration. "Chappo, her chair is over there, where's she?" Azza whispered. "Oh crap. Tiff? Tiff! TIFF!" I heard Chappo and Azza scream. I stuck my free arm up in the air and waved, "Under here" I said. "What the?" I hear Chappo say, as I feel my arm come free and I see their worried, puzzled faces. I can't help but laugh, and soon both of the guys have joined in.
Soon the fight was forgotten as all three of us were lying out on the floor gossiping and talking about our dreams for the future. It was nice, having an evening where I felt normal and had a nice laugh with good company. It was the first time I had felt truly at home in Australia.
The next morning I awoke to a snoring Azza on one side of me, and a sleep talking Chappo on the other. I nudged them both awake and informed them it was 6:30am, and we were all due in at 7. I had never seen the two of them run so fast, fighting to pour glasses of water. Azza was freaking, with no time to go back home, he would have to go to work in his normal clothes that he had been wearing last night. "Azza, I'm usually not busy for the first hour, I could go to your house and get your things for you." I offer. "Would you mind? That would be amazing!" Azza exclaimed. "No problem" I chuckled. Azza tossed me his keys as he and Chappo headed out the door, going to grab something for breakfast on the way.
I got dressed as quick as I could, putting on a pair of shorts and a flowy blue top. I put on my shoes and grabbed my bag. I packed a bottle of water, along with my swimsuit and a towel, as Azza and I were hoping to go to the pool in the evening. I hurried out the door, and quickly rolled my way to Azza's house. I unlocked the door and saw his backpack on the floor as soon as I entered. I looked inside, and he already had it packed with his swimsuit and towel. I went into his room and found his uniform. His sunnys were sitting on his bedside locker, so I grabbed them too. I made my way out and locked the door behind me. On the way down to the tower I stopped in a shop and bought two bottles of water and three sandwiches. I put one bottle of water and a sandwich in Azza's bag, and the other stuff in mine. I made it to the tower just before 7:30am. I put the other bottle of water and extra sandwich into Chappo's bag, and left Azza's bag in the changing room. I went back out to see Maxi drawing a face on Jesse's back with suncream. Maxi was in stitches laughing, and the confused face on Jesse just made it all the more funny. Oh man, how I loved my job. And my life.
