Chapter 10 - Potions

A/N literally, this chapter is called 'Potions' because its all about potions. I know it's shirt but I just though I should update. I can't dedicate this to anyone right now because I'm on my phone but thus is dedicated to Heavy_Metal_Hippy for inspiring me to write another chapter. Hope you don't mind but the point of view changes quite a bit in this chapter.

"So... I have to drink 1L of that, within the next hour..." I asked Taka curiously.

"Um, yeh. If you don't drink it all at the right time the you will kinda die..." She replied.

"What is the potion for again?"

"Classified info. Cleo asked me to deliver it to you and tell you the news."

Something was going on here, I can just see it in Taka's face and she knew it. I just shrugged and grabbed the 7L jar thingy which was surprisingly really heavy! No wonder Taka kept leaning it on stuff.

I pulled off the deep round lid off the dark wooden jar and looked inside to see, smell and even hear my worst nightmare. It was black and lumpy and I thought I saw some grey hairs and some teeth but I must have been seeing things. The stench was just plain off like it was a 100 year old cabbage mixed with blood and guts. The sound? Well, I could hear oozing as the potion slowly moved around as if it were alive.

"I don't seriously have to drink this do I?" I asked whilst resting the lid on top of the container to block out the disturbing smells and sounds.

"Yeh, you kinda do. I feel sorry for you yet I'm kinda jealous too..." She drifted off as if imagining a picture in her head but snapped out of it when she realized I was staring at her like she was the mad woman she is. "What?"

"You are jealous?"

"Errr... ummm... No?"

Yeh something is defiantly up, it's not every day you get given a gross potion that you have to drink extensive amounts of each day at a certain time. Her acting weird has proved my theory.

"Okay, I'm just going to leave now so you can drink your potion..." Taka said while sneaking out the door as if I was holding a chainsaw and threatening to kill her. I swear she's crazy.

I drifted out of my train of though when I realized what she just said, the potion, right...

*Taka's POV*

"Okay, I'm just going to leave now so you can drink your potion..." I said as I sneaked out of Minigeisha's room and back into my own. I feel sorry for her, I really do. She's being told to drink some random potion which she doesn't even know does anything.

Cleo had advised me to not tell her what it does because she might get carried away and drink too much in order for the potion to work faster or better or something or other (A/N lol, overuse of the word 'or').

I do hope Minigeisha finds the potion okay, Cleo and I put a few extra things in which wouldn't effect the potion to much for smell and taste although there are a few side effects in sure she won't mind. Nothing can be done about the sight or sound though, blindfold and earmuffs perhaps?

*Minigeisha POV*

The potion doesn't actually taste too bad, surprisingly it tastes like strawberries. It really dries out your mouth though, you have like no saliva left in your mouth after each mouthful of the potion so you constantly have to drink water between spoonfuls, oh well. Maybe I should just mix them together... Next time anyway because I've had my 1L for today! Only 6Ls to go right?

*Cleo's POV*

I've planned to visit my sister this afternoon, I don't know why but Taka inspired me to go see her. She reminds me of my sister so much but she's still family.

This morning I helped Taka make a potion for Minigeisha. She came to me last night really wanting to make that potion but was scared to make it on her own in case she made a mistake. I would be too, it's a pretty dangerous potion, and witch potions are written using witch metrics which only witches know. She was probably confused out of her brain!

Right now I am looking through all my potion books trying to find the one that has a human disguise potion recipe for Taka, I would go myself but I can't use magic and I'm cursed to be a vampire, I can't use disguise potions.

I finally found the one I was looking for;

'The witches disguise recipe book'

It's about 3 inches thick, it's deep sea green and it's covered in so much dust any human would be having a coughing fit but I don't need to breathe, vampire bonus!

I opened up the book and found that the contents page had been ripped out, Taka is the only person other than me who have been able to use my books. I bought them new to go with the house and we all know how that went. Taka wouldn't rip a page out of my book would she?
