A/N If it worked there should be a picture of Taka to the side
Cleo’s POV
“Soooo, what are we gonna do first?” I asked Chloe, my twin if you forgot.
“Well, everyone thinks we’re both dead… I say we get back at Max and Jeylen.” Chloe said as we continued walking out of the kitchen.
“Wait, they think you’re dead too?”
“Yup, I used a dummy for myself and placed in the room Max and Jeylen said I could stay in,”
“Cool now, why is my hair white again?” I asked, as we kept walking to god knows where.
“Oh, I didn’t tell you. That was the best revenge Max and Jeylen could think of, I could think of many more but no way am I gonna help them torture my sister! Anyway, I wanna save those ideas for them. They made your hair white by making you watch your sister die,” We stopped in front of a room, which said Chloe’s name on the front in green and blue swirly writing, and she opened the door.
“Cool, what ideas do you have in mind, wait what?” I looked at Chloe, but she had an evil look on her face. She pushed me in the room and slammed the door, I tried to open it but it was no use. She locked it.
What on earth did she mean by ‘making you watch your sister die’, she is alive, right? I turned around and leaned against the door. I looked at the sight before me. Oh, my, God. They didn’t, or is this the fake person she was talking about? Ahh! I slid down the door into a sitting position with my knees up to my chest. I hugged my legs and cried into my knees, I haven’t cried like this since I was little, but that’s because I had no reason to.
I sat there and cried out all my frustration and all my sadness. I cried over deaths, and I cried over births. I have no idea how long I sat there crying but it felt good to cry after all these years. I’ve held strong for too long, my mother would say, and sometimes you just have to let it out.
After I sobered up, I still sat there with my face in my knees. I can’t bear to look at the sight before me again.
“Hello? Is there anybody in there? Hellooooooo?” I heard a familiar voice ask, followed by a series of knocks. I stayed silent; I don’t like people seeing me cry. I’m the ‘mother’ here and I have to look strong, that thought just made me cry even more.
Wait a second… why the hell am I crying? I’m no baby!
The door burst open, its hinges falling on the floor. I cried out in alarm as the door fell on my back. I heard a familiar person say a series of sorrys and OMGs etc.
“Cleo? What are you doing in here? Wait… WHAT THE HELL!” Beth exclaimed. I stood up, pushing the light door off of me. I shrugged, not daring to look back at the horrible sight.
“Please, just get me out of here,”
Beth’s POV
I heard crying which seemed so alien like yet so familiar at the same time.
“Hello? Is there anyone in there? Hellllooooooooo?” I called through the door, the crying stopped. Hmm…
I stepped back a bit and then kicked at the door, which fell back easily. Wait… the lock is on this side of the door… oh well. I looked in and saw Cleo, oh….
“OMG I’m sooooo sorry! Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, OMG SORRY!” I yelped. Cleo sighed and stood up, pushing the door off of her.
“Please, just get me out of here,”
That was when I saw what was in the room.
In the room there is a bed with crisp white sheets, a picture frame with a picture of a laughing couple and a free standing wardrobe. In the bed was a woman who looked about 21 and looked strangely familiar. She had brown curly hair and pale skin. Any day I would’ve thought she was asleep but her blue eyes were wide open.
