The New Student; A modern day SasuNaru

The Next Day

Naruto's point of view
      I woke up in my bed with a throbbing head where one of the seniors punched me. After I got a shower I put on a black and white striped shirt with a orange vest along with black jeans. Next I went to my kitchen and grabbed a cup of my most favorite ramen and added hot water. I started to pack up my back pack as I waited for the three minutes of agonizing waiting to be over until I would be able to eat my misco ramen.

     "Ramen. Ramen. Ramen." I chanted once my food was done and then slurping it down. After that I grabbed my bag and my crappy phone walking to a mirror on one of my walls. I had a few small scratches and one large, bruised bump on the right side of my head. You could see my 3 whisker shaped birth marks on both my cheeks.

All of the sudden I heard a knock on my apartment door. "Naruto! Are you awake yet?" Yelled a slightly familiar voice. I slowly walked over to to the door cautiously and opened it.

"What do you want Sasuke?" I asked staring boringly at him. He reached out and took my hand making me blush. Sasuke then turned and I shut my door before he started pulling me along. I yanked him back looking him in his dark black eyes. "Where are we going? And let go of my hand."

"Walking to school together." He blaintenly states while looking forward as I yanked my hand out of his pale skinned one.

"Well that doesn't mean you have to hold my hand." I claimed as mean as I possibly could to get my point across.

Sasuke's point of view
"Well that doesn't mean you have to hold hand." Naruto said coldly. Even when Naruto is mad he's so adorable. I could feel my cheeks heating up so I turned back to the direction I was facing before. Once I felt a little calmer I turned back.

"How are your injuries feeling?" I asked now facing Naruto who blushed at the question. He's so cute.

"Fine, I guess. Although this bump right here still hurts." He said pointing at a small lump near the right corner of his forehead.

       I slowly bent over to his head and placed a gentle kiss where his finger was pointed. He froze still when I did this. "Now you should feel better." I said ruffling his blonde locks of soft hair. His face was a really bright shade of light crimson and his blue eyes stared at me in confusion of what just happened to him.

     "Whaaaaa?" I then wrapped my arm around his neck pulling him in for a hug. He stayed there dumbfounded at my movements but I didn't care, I was close to his heated body and his adorable face.

Naruto's point of view
     As Sasuke hugged me I felt my face get redder the longer we stood there. Finally I reacted and shoved Sasuke off of me and then ran down the road in the direction of school. Why did Sasuke hug me. Does this mean he likes me? No he probably just did it as a joke. Yeah a joke like how we call Kiba dog boy. I will apologize when we get to school.

Time skip
     "Naruto." I heard Hinata quietly say and turned to see her standing in a daisy covered dress beside the rest of my friends.

     "Hey Hinata. Hey Kiba. Hey Shino. I can't talk right now I'm waiting for someone I need to  apologize to." I replied to my friends, trying not to sound weird.

     "Who your girlfriend." Kiba said dragging out the last word.

     "No. Sasuke." I roared back at him looking over at the door watching for him and then turning back at my small group of friends.

     "I thought you hated Sasuke?" Kiba asked, being the pest like before.

     "Will you just shut up already." I shot back at him. Wait why didn't I deny it? Well I guess anyone would stop hating someone after they saved your butt.

     "Fine. See you later then I guess." And with that they all walked away, but not before Hinata turned back and waved at me and then joining them again. I wonder why she is always so shy around me? Before I could think of an answer I saw Sasuke dashing up to the school and I ran to greet him with my regular smile.

     "Hey sorry about running off. It was just a joke so I guess I just over reacted." I said with a chuckle as my hand scratched the back of my head.

Sasuke's point of view
     "It's fine really. Hey Naruto do mind if I sit with you and your friends at lunchtime?" I asked as my cheeks started to warm up as the words escaped my pink lips.

     "Sure if you don't mind Kiba acting like a doofus." He replied back with a light chuckle. He is just so cute when he's happy. In fact I don't know a time he's not attractive. We went inside the building then and split ways when the bell rang and we headed for our lockers.
